I love how it's free roam but there's no Ultimate Spider man and the first film based game is level based.
Yeah, when I bought Spiderman (the 2002 game) I was really hoping for some kind of free roam. I was pretty disappointed to find out that there wasn't any, and it was just linearly level based. I love the free roam in Spiderman 2 though
@@deegeeare1150 hate to be “that guy” but it’s time we all realize the web swinging in spiderman 2 isn’t that great, sure it has good physics but you can lose all of your momentum just buy hitting the wrong button.

I don’t get how the graphics for the first Spider-Man game are somewhat better than Spider-Man 2. Still a kick ass game though. Loved it growing up. Hell I still do.

Sebastian Perez It’s not the emulator. I remember playing Spider-Man 2 and it still looking like poo. It was accurate to the video. I recently played Spider-Man 1 like 6 weeks ago and it looked way better than 2 even then. If that makes sense. Idk

Because Spiderman 2 had a larger free roam open world. And a more complex control system.
The developers for the console versions sacrificed graphics for the sake of more player freedom.
Worth it, in my opinion.
@7:07 Does anybody else prefer the more laid back swinging speed they show in this demo? You get longer time on the webline which looks better imo.
My favorites were Spider Man 2, Web Of Shadows, Ultimate Spiderman, and The Upcoming Marvel's Spiderman!

The Boss It's because Spiderman 1 has a less detailed world.
The Boss the game wouldve crashed or ran very slow, if it had better graphics. If they waited for the next gen (ps3 or xbox360) it wouldve looked much better and ran smoother.

Some of those games should come to xbox backwards compatibility or PS2 on PS4 (especially SM2, but I’d take SM1 & SM3 too. I’d tryout the others). At least the new game looks awesome

All of them are backwards compatible on 360. So it's not a stretch to put it on Xbox One with a big resolution upgrade.

Meban Jyrwa i think i read that problems like that is one of many known flaws in the game. It was known to be incredibly buggy
