You can fly it using the DJI Mini Blades. I destroyed 5 of them an failed to get a set of originals. So i tried the DJI Mini Blades. You have to use the DJI original screws that are included with the Propellers. The blades are a bit shorter. But it works. I have mounted them in the way showing on a Photo from Google of the DJI Mini.
I have a DJI mini 2 and bought this as a 2nd drone. BIG BIG difference. The Eachine EX 5 resembles the mini 2 in appearance, but the similarities pretty much end there. The quality of the image on the screen is not nearly as good as the DJI. Part of it is because the picture itself isn't as good, but a big factor is also the lack of a stabilized gimble. The camera gimble on DJI products delivers rock solid and butter smooth cinematic video, even as the drone gets moved around by the wind. Since the EX5 doesn't have a stabilizing gimble, the image is shaky. If you plan to use the drone video project, you absolutely want the stabilized gimble. In terms of ease of flying, the EX5 isn't bad, but it's not close to the solid smooth feel of the Mini 2. It is lighter than the mini 2 and seems to get pitched around a lot more in the wind. It also doesn't hold it's position in space nearly as well when you take your fingers off the sticks. In short, it feels a lot more like a toy, whereas the DJI Mini 2 is more like a serious aerial photography platform. But hey, at around $100, it's not a bad drone. It has GPS and one button return to home, which is a GREAT feature for beginners. If you want to fly and take some video while you fly, it absolutely will do that. But if you are looking for beautiful video that you can actually use in projects, one of the DJI drones is probably your best choice.
It's a great budget entry drone. It was never made to equal the DJI. Agree that it has some pretty cool features and it great value for money. I still fly mine today. It has been a great safe drone especially for the beginner! Cheers mate.
Hi there got one of tyhese myself and they will just go over the 1km in clear view areas not built up like trees etc, also if you get a cheap wifi extender you can go upto twice the distance, hope that helps for this and other non DJI drones under the 250 range :)
Great test mate. Im extentionly testing this drone /w 200m model. Both versions (1000m & 200m FPV feed) got its pro's and con's. For the money - untill my tests now - one could say its a great beginner for its money. Keep up the good work mate! Like from me and subscribed your channel!!!
I noticed when you ran the test you didn't have the antennas folded open. If they are actually real antennas, this could make a TON of difference I'd think.

To many trees for an accurate rang test what I would be interesting is to see if it automatically returns if it loss complete range or if the radio shuts down
From the live view where video stuck and breaks I had to say it can't even compare to my Mavic Mini. According to range it's even worse, with Mavic Mini I can get about 400m in urban area and over 2km in open field.
I got couple letters 801.2 a ,c ,ac,b, c ,BS,Any Idea if echina did anything like the My Stolen Mavic Mini It worked great before emergency landing! I have one. Or actually XKJ L108. Camera sucks. Which makes the drone useless in my opinion. Might just as well buy a $25 toy without GPS if you want to fly around a bit. And I really am not asking for Mavic video quality. But many brushed 720P drones are better. Shame. Because I do like how it flies and the small size.
@@GTARC_au This with the EIS of the Bugs 20 or Tello, that would be great. But right now, nope. Better buy a Funsky 913. It's under 250 gram, nice and small, very silent, SD card slot. Also no gimbal (that can break) but the video is a million times better. You just miss some features like follow-me. But if the video of the L108 or Ex5 is that poor, you're not gonna use it anyway.

Perhaps you have the 400mtr device and not the 1000mtr 🤔there are two versions of the EX5.
