I used the Lumo for the first time yesterday. My favorite is the EMS too! I, like you am about tightening. I started at level 3 and Wow does it pack a punch! I could see a difference after the very first treatment. The only thing that bothered me was it bothered my teeth. I contacted EVENSKYN and they said it won’t harm your teeth though. I see people remarking about the fat loss of RF devices. I was concerned about that as well. The company says that the temperature does not get high enough to melt the fat layer. Great demo Dawn! You look fantastic!
Yet another great video! Thanks Dawn for your honest evaluation. I have another RF machine and I've discovered that the gel (for the EMS mode) tends to dry out over time. I find it handy to have a bowl of water by your side to slightly dampen your face so the machine glides on easier. Hope this is helpful.

Well, perhaps it was my use of a serum on the “EMS” mode, but I felt it actually shocking my face on the lowest mode. I will try an aloe vera gel next time. Hopefully, that will make a much better contact. Thank you for your very thoughtful and caring instructional video.❤️

I am using aloe Vera gel. The EMS - photon mode is too much for me, even on the lowest strength. It actually stings. Very uncomfortable. Maybe I should apply lidocaine on my skin prior to using this mode? Or ice?

Just recived Evenskyn Lumo today. On programme 4 for electrical muscle stimulation, I can hardly feel anything. I put it up level 5 and could just feel tingly. I used it with a radio frequency gel. Am I doing something wrong as evryone seems to find level 1 strong. I have now sent 3 emails (to sales and to support) and a message on instagram. No response. Very disappointed with the lack of support. Also the cooling program 5 - The metal ring is naturally cold but warms up with use and doesn't cool down but blue light comes on.
It seems you missed the RF mode, where does that step fit it? And do you need to use it with a gel or just after you washed your face before the cooling mode?

I just got this device and I have used all the settings but the EMS. Since I apply serums for the ENI mode for absorption , do I just apply the gel on top of the serums to do the EMS mode? And then rinse off the gel after I’m done? Can’t seem to find that information. Great video!
I find the serums will penetrate into the skin and absorb ...then when you do the EMS mode you really need a gel and saturate the face so the device is constantly moving. Then after the treatment remove the residue of the gel. You can always call customer service and they are great at answering all questions :)). Let me know how it goes. Dawn XO

This device unfortunately caused fat loss on my lower face area. I have only used it 3 times so far( once a week) at a low intensity of 2 ( out of 5). But my face is starting to look tired and older with saggy skin. They say I should try it for at least 30 days to see results but I’m already seeing sagging skin which I didn’t really have. In one article I read I should stop using Radio frequency if I experience fat loss as it will keep getting worse? Does anyone have a similar experience?

So yes... this therapy (ALL the devices, not just this one) do have a possible side effect of fat loss. Some others suggest not using this at all above your cheekbones. I'm planning to try it but I will definitely start on my chin / jowl area. I watch both Dawn and Clare because they are both awesome but use the device differently. I want to know all I can before I do something like this. This is serious stuff and not for the uninformed. Just my 2 cents! To be honest, reading some of the comments where people received the device and went straight to level 5 terrified me a bit.

I have seen other videos of women experiencing the same thing you're talking about. I really wanted to get this device, but I'm concerned that it may not be right for my aging thin skin. I believe this is a sponsored presentation for the company.
I have used this twice a week for 2 months and tbh my skin looks worse - my wrinkles look more pronounced - may have even gained some - and the pouch under my chin remains the same. My advice, particularly if you live in the UK, is don't waste your money - I had to pay £100 custom charges so all in all a very expensive mistake

Does anyone else find this very painful? I used Thursday Plantation aloe gel in EMS mode and I could barely take it. I could feel it in my teeth and down the sides of the neck I could feel it pull my shoulders up involuntarily. Honestly it frightened me. Sorry to say but the truth is, for me, that I see no 'improvement' or any difference, at all, In the before & after photos 🙄 I'm a new subscriber and was initially pulled in to this video by your before & after thumbnail photos. Except that I, at first, thought I saw a firmer more youthful face in the before photo (which I thought, at first glance, was the after photo)... and that the after photo was actually the before photo! Idk...maybe it's the difference in your hairstyle and the blonde color showing that gave me the first impression this was your after photo.

Idk about 'retouching'...I tend to trust that most YT influencers demoing a 'firming' device such as this, with b/4 & after photos, don't 'retouch'. However, trusting that the manufactures don't retouch (or employ some type of angle, or lighting 'trickery') is a different matter altogether.)🤔 I once questioned some before/after photo's sent to my email inbox by Droplette because it was quite obvious that the after photos had a distinct 'angled' advantage over the before photo. Surprisingly, they replied by pointing out - in their defense - that the photos were taken at home by one of their clients, and they were simply passing them on. OK, that's nice, but IMO they aren't really off the hook for sending those out to potential customers because it was so OBVIOUS! I absolutely refuse to believe that no one at the company noticed that the after photo's were angled in such a way so as to show quite an improvement in firmness(?). It was obvious, and yet they sent them out anyway.🤨 Denigrated my trust in that company.

I use the RF mode with a micro current gel and you can use the RF with the other modes or on it’s own. Typically you use that first. Xoxo

You can use any conductor gel or water based gel. I use the 💯 aloe Vera gel you can get at any drugstore. 🥰👏🙌

I did not lose fat on my face but I use the lowest intensity

Since the ENI mode is for assisting in the absorption of skin products, Can I use this mode every time when I apply skin products?

Yes, if you use it at night I would apply the retinol but during the day the vitamin C or a SPF moisturizer.
