I know this is gonna sound weird, but this redesign makes it seem as if Cid's explosion would be extremely painful: the sound is gone because your senses are overload by pain, same with the white flash, everything that was you is being atomized and the seconds it takes to happen feel like eons due to the pain

voice sample + reverb than reverse and add like an layer. Sample itself process with short delay and reverb with a little amount
