Samarkand to Tashkent - Sharq Train | Gopro 11

Today was a day of travel, as I went from Samarkand to Tashkent. I had purchased my train ticket a few days in advance, which limited my options to the slower train. Note : if Iyou want to ride the bullet train, you must purchase your ticket well in advance.
I had bought my ticket online and it only cost around 10 US dollars. The journey itself took about four hours, which gave me plenty of time to sit back and enjoy the scenery.
However, one interesting event did occur during the journey. One of the train conductors approached me and offered to bump me up to VIP status ( his cabin, essentialy). He wanted 40 US dollars for the "upgrade" , but I declined. He claimed that my original cabin would be packed, but in the end, there was only one lady sharing it with me.
Overall, it was an enjoyable journey, and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to see more of this beautiful country.
