How do I remove stripped Allen bolts? Out of the 3. I stripped one!
A set of screw extractors is about $15 at your big box or hardware store. Having the stripped hole will make it even easier to remove. It's like a drill bit with reverse threaded pointy tip. Use a drill on low speed with the bit pushed into the Allen head. When you tighten the new screw down, don't use the ball end.
anything you recommend to avoid LAYER SHIFTS ?
Depends when it happens. Layer shifts are because the nozzle bumps into the print or because the stepper motors are losing steps.
the nozzle hits the print... EXACTLY.. this is what i think causes these shifts... BED LEVELING is essential for every single print.. and a heated room for keeping the print from warping. @@Zemistr3D
