I was wondering if you happened to know when I'm not seeing the 'Date Formatting' dropdown on the custom action. Perhaps an update on Adalo's side? I think it may be causing an issue for me. I've tried using a couple of work-arounds using text input boxes in order to get access to the formatting options, but even with the work arounds can't seem to get it all working properly. I've managed to get the custom action to pull the correct month and day number, but the year is always off, which seems to also be impacting the day of the week. Any advice or direction you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to trying out all of the other stacks as well. Thanks again!
Hi Patrick. Thank you for your Adalo tutorials. They are sooo helpful. I have one question: Do you know how to add numbers? E.g. when you want to add the person's followers plus the following people.
@@pford I watched your tutorial "Build an Instagram clone." It was so much fun, so I improved the app. I built a list, where you can answer a comment, like on Instagram. In our "Not the gram", we said current post/ comments/ count. Now we have a second list for comments. That's why I want to calculate current post/ comments/ count PLUS current comment/ answer comment/ count Do you know how to do that:)?
Hi Patrick, Do you know if active and expired can be created based on an expiry date. So if it is before that date it is active. If it is past the date it is expired. Some way to show by change the Color of the list item or with text field. Thanks for your videos.
Hi Patrick. Some time ago you created a video on filtering. I am creating an app where the business owner would put in their business details. I need for customers to be able to search eg McDonalds, New York or burgers, New York. I need people to be able to search using the type of business and the area or the name of the business and the area and even the things the business sells and the area using one filtering system or line. Would you please do a video for that?
@@pford It does not seem to work for what I am needing. If you look at the user list I would like to be able to search eg. the name plus the email address and anything else that would be added there. I hope that makes sense. But at the moment from your video, it allows me to search name or email or etc.

Yes so if you add the property as a date instead of a text property, you don't actually need to format the date.

If I understand your question, you can do this by doing going to the relationship for the record and choosing count.

Hmmm. I have a video on using a search index. Would that work for what you're needing?
