Thanks Steve - I agree 19cwt isn't unreasonably heavy, but for learners a 6cwt 8 are much more manageable (the back 8 can still be rung of course for when the occasion arises!). They ring quite a few peals on the light 8 here too (again, more manageable and knocks 20 minutes off the time!).
The tenor is a fine bell indeed! Wouldn't mind a grab here. They sound awesome
