When I attempt a new problem , after reading the prompt I feel like I would be able to do it on my own, although it may take time, but then when I start thinking about the solution I mostly find myself spending all day doing that problem, after failing many times and spending sometimes whole day behind the problem I am able to code it but then when I introspect about it, I think weather taking things on my ego and spending whole day behind a problem is the right approach of doing dsa problems in general or not, I overthink how will I solve it in few minutes in a technical interview when I am spending whole day here and then I feel disgusted
I have talked about this mannier times in my videos, that you should not take a question on your ego and waste time over that, it wont benefit you at all. You should only devote 1-1.5 hrs on a Leetcode medium question, if not able to solve, then look at the solution and learn from it.
