- Are you struggling to get started with DSA (Data Structures and Algorithms), just like my friend Tanu? Don’t worry, we’ve all been there! In this video, I’m breaking down everything you need to know about why DSA is so important and how to actually begin.
We chat about:
🔹 Why just attending college isn’t enough-you need the right skills to land a high-paying job or internship.
🔹 How to pick a programming language (Java, C++, Python-whatever works!) and start with simple pattern printing problems to build your basics.
🔹 The importance of sticking to one resource (yep, no more bouncing between tutorials) and how to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
🔹 A step-by-step plan for tackling DSA topics like Arrays, Linked Lists, Stacks, and Queues-starting with the easy stuff!
🔹 How to prep for interviews by timing your problem-solving practice (because let’s face it, time matters in interviews!).
🔹 What’s next after you’ve got the basics down-topics like Recursion, Trees, and Graphs that you’ll need to master.
If you're in your first or second year of college and haven’t started coding yet, now’s the time! This video is packed with advice to help you build the skills you need to ace internships and placements. So stick around, and let’s start this journey together!
I’d love to hear your thoughts-drop a comment if you have any questions about DSA or if you're feeling stuck somewhere. Let’s figure this out together!
Special thanks to my friend Tanu for helping me in making this video.

Okay I will create a community post to know how many people wants 2nd part of this video!!
For solving coding problems can I do on geeks of geeks
Yes you can do... But also keep doing on some recognised platform like leet code or codechef ...
i am going to join a private college in 2025, should i opt for ece or cse ? i know its to my interest and these are the branches i have alreaddy reaseched about and am well aware about. cause at the end of the 4 years ,,, its always going to be a tech branch hiring you if not a core branch.
Bro first thing is your interest. If cse interests you then you should definitely go for it. And the package also is very good here. But you need to work very very hard.
Which resources u use for java
@@salonipawar4111 For basics of java, you can just watch any sort of video on RUclips, whichever suits you.
thnks, you got a new subscriber :)
@@prachi4601 haha , thanks !
Hi! Thanks For The Video. I want to ask if i only know c language and some basics of c++ should i learn c++ complete and then start dsa or first dsa?
Bro one can't learn a language completely. Just get comfortable with basic syntax and functioning and then start the DSA
bhai c language me kar sakte hain kya?
Yes yes, you can !
@harshkumarpatwa 👍👍
C++ feb tk complete ho jayegi bhaiya!!! To kya mein ext step march se DSA in C++ start kr du?? Will you plzz recommend any good channel for learning DSA aur any good website??
Yes yes, why are you waiting to complete c++ till feb. Once you are comfortable with syntax start solving basic dsa problems. I would say, start with Striver's DSA sheet.
❤
Java mein DSA kaise kiya or kaha se kiya ??
Bro mai to sst me hun, to humaare yaha DSA java me start krwaya gyaa tha...

@@jattinbhardwaj3219 bhai maine app development seriously try nhi kiya hai, I tried it for fun. And I didn't enjoy it. So let's see what's there in the future for me...
@@harshkumarpatwa bro agar koi 2 nd year mein. Start kare toh kya best rahega
If anyone have no good knowledge about coding so he can start from java or not
@@pramodnegi1774 I would say then Java is a good option to start with. You get to learn in depth about how things happen.
@harshkumarpatwa like how many months i have to give java currently im in second sem
@@pramodnegi1774 I think daily if you are giving 1 hour then 10-15 days of basic understanding of java is enough and then gradually start solving pattern printing problems.
