Another character not mentioned for honorable mention is Asta.
If you don't have someone like Bronya giving you a FULL action forward, the spd can be helpful, along with helping the fire break + providing atk%
If I used gallagher HTB and firefly is xueyi a good 4th teammate?
Well, I don't expect her to have diverse team set up but I will say majority of her DMG literally come from HTB's ult and no other amplifiers can boost her DMG output as much as MC. Robin might be a speculation I wanna see but I know Robin's ult don't grant FF BE on her trace but the speed value is still something to consider when combined with Asta. Both FF and Robin can literally have more ult outputs. But FF fans are gonna hate me for talking about this team when I don't see people experiment on cycle clear. All they wanna see is FF's DMG but I wanna see both Robin and FF total DMG.
The only limited 5* I have is Ruan Mei. The only limited 5* lightcone I have is Ruan Mei's signature. I fucking love Firefly. I WAS BORN FOR THIS MOMENT!

Honestly Ruan Mei is all you need to pull with HTB to beat a whole half of MoC now… that combo could work with pretty much any character since they turn them into break DPS… you don’t even need to pull a 5* sustain on your account, just use Gallagher, especially if getting SAMfly
@@thederp9309 I'm actually so hyped to get to that part in the story and unlock that goofy lil clock boi. Have only just started Panecony. Was honestly thinking of fully skipping fu-xuan and going for e2 firefly since people seem to be using Gallagher>Fu. Seems like the fastest path to a super strong team (im TL 35 XD)
@@badlittlewizardE0 is complete fine i think especially if you build gallaghar well since he is very skill point positive and also with the help of ruan mei LC which gives skill point. I think firefly's LC would be a better pick. Also, it would be better to focus on building your 2nd team.
Hanya is also a viable option as well since her ultimate can give an ATK increase and speed to firefly. Not to mention her skill that inflicts burden on the enemy and allowing u to recover skill points. This is if you dont have ruen mai or u lose her on the upcoming banner.
This and Asta. She can help breaking and gives atk and spd

If Ruan Mei is gonna be on the Firefly update in the same banners, I am going to be INCREDIBLY UPSET, because I happen to not have a Ruan Mei, and I really want Firefly. I have guaranteed pity right now, so I REALLY want to use it for Firefly.

I was at 2400 stored resin + 60 resin jars. This video helped me so much in making the decision to who to build! Ty so much
Firefly is surely great, but it could be a Problem if Ruan Mei is in the same Patch as Firefly. Even if I can save up around 180 Pulls, i'm not sure if I can get both, considering that I also have the 50-50. So, I have to choose for either one. I can't do most of the Endgame Content, atm except Sim Universe, since i'm new to the Game and I want to get more Characters. Aside the usual Cast of Characters I got by playing the Story, and free Dr. Ratio, I also have Aventurine, Loucha, Serval, Bailu (from the Standard Banner), Himeko (lost the 50-50 on Jingliu's Banner), Yanqing (from the Beginner Banner), Gallagher, Lynx, Guinaifen, Luka, Sampo, Pela, Tingyun, Hanya, Xueyi and Arlan. I also made a List of Characters I want to pull for. But, what do you think? Should I try going for Ruan Mei first and I fail try it again when I saved up enough?
Yeah would recommend going for Ruan Mei,
Doesn't seem like like you have a premium harmony support but for other roles, you have somewhat covered
Ruan Mei will benefit your account universally on any team so would recommend it
@@PretenderStarRail Makes Sense, since without Ruan Mei Firefly isn't a complete Hypercarry. In Case if I don't get Firefly I can wait for her Rerun. And these two aren't the only Characters I want to go for. I mentioned that I have a List, so maybe you could give me your Opinion on it. The other Characters on that List are Huohuo, Jingliu, Kafka, Sparkle, Dan Heng IL, Acheron, Black Swan and Silver Wolf or Jiaoqiu (if he's better than SW).
Isn't a bad list, you have a lot of time to save for the most part besides Huohuo and Jiaoqiu
As Huohuo is "probably" gonna rerun next update and Jiaoqiu is right after (probably), the rest you got a lot time to save for

I understand your concern. Hoyoverse is always this way. They may hire bunch of people to look on players and write on notes. They always put rerun banner that player want with new character. You know. Predatory.
You either choose new meta or long waited character.
I don’t have Ruan Mei, but I think I might be able to get Gallagher E2 if he’s featured on her banner, and in the future, I wanna run her with Clara as a meme duel dps comp. I honestly think it may work since even with Gallagher, you can still get one-shot, so I having Clara direct agro away honestly helps. *don’t mind me trying to convince my self a team comp like that would work*
There's no PvP in this game, so, play what you want. Don't worry about a team not being max optimal use, this game won't have you meeting other people's builds to fight against.

I currently have a decent but not too rich account, I've been playing since release and have E1 Jing Yuan without Lightcone and he's been my main since, and I'm really torn on Firefly or Robin. I really want a Destruction character like Firefly but Robin would really boost Jing Yuan (I have a Tingyun for him though) should I still go for Firefly?
for gallagher, is the penacony set or any of the other current planar ornaments fine for him or is the 2.3 fire break effect planar ornament set his bis for firefly ?
Penacony can probably work, from the looks of it, ageless will be really good since the atk% that will be given to the team, and Firefly really likes atk

I lost Aventurine 50/50 and was saving my guarantee for Firefly but I'm now considering Fu Xuan since i don't have any preservation besides MC Fire. With that been said, if I got Firefly down the road I will have Firefly (E0), MC Imaginary, Gallaguer (E6) and Bronya (E0), since i don't have Ruan Mei.
Can i replace gallagher with lynx instead? (I skip acheron so i dont have him)
And is crit firefly still viable?

We're still so early in beta, if we're looking at the current stage Boothil is better but don't take my word on this and wait for more information. She will most likely get huge changes in following weeks
Wait until monday/tuesday. v2 FF is very flawed and has a terrible kit. In about 2 days and 8 hours, her v3 kit will be released to the beta test server. Her numbers are overtuned but her kit is flawed and unfun to play as of now.
boothil because he can function without anyting. You can also put him evrywhere. Also FF needs a buff in current state she is to forced to be togeter with harmony MC.
Boothill is really good but you should wait until we get more details on ff
I personally will be getting boothill because with the new mode coming out i def need more hunt units (I also really like the character)
I suggest to get units based on what you need most but then again you could just pull for whoever you like more

Which one is better Gallagher or e1 huohuo
Gallagher still BiS sustain but if you're struggling with staying alive, then switch to Huohuo
Gallagher cause he is SP+ and can help break enemies faster which translates to sustain since you won't take dmg if your enemies are broken and if you have ruan mei that will be extended. Although E2 gallagher is recommended because of the cleanse in case you get CC'd and also the energy and effect res is huge.
Gallagher if you just want more damage and break and HuoHuo if you have problems with debuffing enemies especially DoT enemies which absolutely runs rampant in Penacony.
Go for E6 firefly don’t worry you’ll be fine (you will not)

I really hope they release a dedicated break support like htb, either 4 or 5 star, i just don't want to pull Ruan Mei due to her terrible writing but the other supports aren't nearly as good

Like I don't care too much for black swan but still pulled her for the dot comp cause she's good and found swan still interesting. But Mei I just actively hate as a character due to how they downplayed everything she did cause she's hot. So I REALLY don't want to have to use her

But it's the execution of her that's awful since they try to act like she's just misunderstood because she doesn't get emotion. She created a fking emanator and nearly restarted the swarm disaster just because she felt like it for science, because she has no personal motivation, just does things for science, as well as locking up her creations in the dark where nobody would find them. That's not "oh I just don't know how emotions work", that's being crazy. And yet the game doesn't even give you the option to be mad at her, you only get to simp cause she's a hot waifu. She straight up drugs you then tells you that you'll forget all about her crimes, and instead of texting arlan or asta or anything you just go "nooo I don't want to forget you, you're so hot haha"

So she is hypercarry 😔 I though she will be like Blade that can be paired with Jingliu. I get Clara/Svarog again and wish Firefly/Sam can be paired with.
It's not really the usual hypercarry since all of her team will deal dmg. Specially HMC and gallagher which can deal a ton dmg thanks to super break. It's not only firefly doing the dmg compared to other hypercarry which relies solely on the main dps for dmg.
