I am so glad to find the pianist who respects the speed that Carl Czerny wanted to play. It's beautiful and so musical. And thank you to mention to 'imslp'. I didnot konw it.
Why are these played so fast? They lose all musicality. I have to set the play back speed to 50%..then they sound like Mozart or Beethoven. Glad you made these would love to have them in MIDI....then i could choose the tempo and intrument.
Seriously. What in nature is he trying to replicate? fast warbling birds? Should be a point to fast notes... Not the human voice obviously...not many singing tones in 32nd notes. Waterfalls? Who dances this fast?! When I slow down all of Czerny's works they become Operatic and I can actually understand them. 95% of popular music is below 95% of the tempos these are performed. I turn 45 minutes into 90 minutes of glorious Czerny!

Etude No.26 of this set has been a long favorite of mine :)
Me too. Fun to play.
I don't understand... did you play ALL Czerny etudes on your channel?? They're thousands!!! It's incredible

I was wondering if this speed was right. How one can play 64th notes.
@@chonghwang8028Unfortunately this is Czerny speed. He is one of the early speed rider on the piano !
Czerny is not Mozart or Beethoven. They are not the same, Czerny is Czerny.
