Recently I had gone to Bicholim Sal fr Gade utsav n I was lucky to c the devchar right infront of me I saw clearly he lit the fire on his bare hands just by clapping n was walking with fire on his hand n he was soo tall n his whole body was visible even his long hairs but face was not. The unbelievable movement just can't be forgotten.❤🔥
Bodgeshwara🙏 All the devchars do come to help when one is in need and scared or lost their way. One is lucky to see him. For me I have heard him walking with his stick. I feel lucky. Devchars are real and not a myth :) Thanks for the video sir.
A week back v have got experience and also heard the sound of his stick outside our house.. exactly half an hour we could hear his stick banging sound. its not that he only be in mapusa but he reaches to any nook and corner of the state..shri dev bodgeshwar certainly protects and and reaches to you wen u call him in full faith...
@harshad naik. Thanks for sharing your experience. Do share this video to your friends. And also Non Goan friends. Goa is not just beaches and drink. It's rich in heritage , culture, and religion. Do subscribe my channel
Sir I really appreciate your work, it is important to pass on our cultural values to our next generation. Unfortunately most of us are forgetting to do so now a days. Hoping you will make more videos on other temples too in future.
It was very informative video. I wud like to share my experience of one such incident which happened few yrs back. It was early morning abt 2 - 2.30am n I was on a call wit my frnd who was going home to old goa. Ven he reached Baingini, near dat small temple besides the main road going to old goa I clearly heard the stick hitting the ground with ghungaroo sound which be's tied to the Rankhandars stick. He too heard it, bt he didn't c any1 on the road. I was stunned. This shows dat even today the Rankhandars r going abt to tk care of his villagers n travellers passing by. 🙏
hey ajit, nicely explained. I wanna share something that i know from my locality Dona Paula theres one raknar (rakhandar) who used to walk with a stick at night banging at everybodys door to make sure that people were asleep and he used to walk the paths led to the jetty too, People have seen him and one of the guys have met with an incident too, People had said that you shouldn't turn back and look at him the rakhno (rakhandar) or else you will have to face consequences. I believe that there is a god sent guide who always guide you back home and protects his people.
Hello Sir Just came across ur channel. Subscribed too. Very nice. Bodgeshwara paw deva🙏 I have experienced his blessing several times. Bodgeshwar pawata. Vishwas jai.

Thanks for your video. Very very interesting to learn about this temple. Also Goan beaches are well known. Very little information is known about the temples of Goa.
Even my granny used to say. That he gaurds us.and l use to hear the thak thak of his lathi.this was in dhuler.that time there was lot of jungle there.and no question of any chowkidar in those days.
@poppy on temple it's Shri Dev Bodgeshwar . In konkani many spell the deity name differently. My granny use to call bondgeshwar, some call as you said. But Google has same spelling as mentioned in the video. Main thing is that our message to people who visit Goa as a tourist should reach. Goa has a rich culture. So let spread the true story where people will respect our Goan culture

@Pandurang Bandekar Nagdo Betal Loliem Vetal - Goa. Loliem is a small village in south Goa‘s Canacona Taluka. On entering the village look out for an arched gateway on your left as you head downhill on the road. From here there’s a path running through a farmhouse frontage and beyond into the jungle. Before long you’ll reach a small clearing where the Vetal stands. This Vetal, or Betal, is known locally as the Nagdo Betal (Nagdo meaning “unclad”). It’s a Goan deity that seems to be specific only to this region.
