    In the example you showed, the winning hand can be formed by drawing or if another player discards a 1, 4 or 7 balls.

    • @MariletsWorld
      @MariletsWorld  3 года назад

      Yes, that's right 😄! For experienced players, you may see different ways to win by moving the numerical order of the sets up or down the same suited tiles. 😀
      Thank you for the input!👍

    Hello! May I know if there are any other winning patterns? Also I was wondering how you calculate the winning score and points transfer between players after a win

    Whats the other special winning tile sets beside escalera and 7 pairs?

    Ma’am winning hand din po ba pag nag chow kau ng straight kasi me pair na kau pero ung nagtapon is not the person on your left?

  • @vthorsanchez2607
    @vthorsanchez2607 3 года назад +1

    if you have escalera or seven pairs does it mean automatic WIN? even thou you have excess tiles?

    • @MariletsWorld
      @MariletsWorld  3 года назад

      If you have 7 pairs and the rest of the tiles form a pong (3 identical tiles) or a chow (3 consecutive tiles of the same suit), that's a win. The rest of the tiles have to form a set/meld. Same with Escalera, the rest of the tiles must be complete sets with 2 pongs and/or chows and a pair.

    Ask po. Paanu po kung yung opposite na kalaban mo ang ngtapon ng winning tile mo panalo po ba kayo? Salmat

    • @MariletsWorld
      @MariletsWorld  Год назад

      Yes, except kung ang winning tiles mo ay chow or escalera. Consecutive numbers. You can only take the tile from your left side player to complete a chow or escalera. Thank you for watching. 🙏

    for the last part, what happens if i draw a 4th 3 stick?

    • @MariletsWorld
      @MariletsWorld  3 года назад +1

      Good question! If you draw a 4th 3 stick on this scenario, you may keep it and have 4 of a kind. Place all 4 tiles face down and declare a "secret". If one of the other players need the 3stick to win, they won't know you have it and have an advantage. You need another tile to discard and keep playing. You will need to draw from the tile wall clockwise direction to replace the 1 secret tile. If you draw 1, 4 or 7 balls you win. If not, you may discard a tile and continue, until a player wins.

    Can you only steal a tile from the player on your left?

    • @MariletsWorld
      @MariletsWorld  2 года назад

      If you are trying to complete a "chow"(consecutive numbers) you can only steal from your left. But you can steal from any other player if you're trying to complete a "pong/Kang" (identical tiles).

    So whoever completes a winning hand first is the winner?

    • @MariletsWorld
      @MariletsWorld  3 года назад +1

      Hi, thanks for your inquiry. Yes, whoever completes a winning hand first is the winner. If the player draw their winning tile from the stack, they win. Sometimes 2 player may need the same tile to win. If this tile was discarded by a player, the next person in order of draw (clockwise direction) gets the tile and win. I hope this answers your question. Thanks for watching this video. 🙂

      I have not encountered a joker tile in Filipino Mahjong yet. But I think it is included in other Asian or American Mahjong sets. And treated as an honor tile or wild card.

    • @MariletsWorld

      These mahjong tiles I used are not the usual size for the game. They are smaller version and are easier to handle for the video. Thanks for watching.🙂 Happy Holidays!
