Magnetic Bolt Picker - A Simple Beginner Lathe Project

I make a bolt pick-r-upper from stainless rod and a magnet.
Simple to make, but very useful.

I have absolutely no use for such a tool but I now feel that my life will not be complete without one.
Come to think of it, my life would be even completer with a set of said items in different sizes....🤔

Yes. I saw Allen Millyard using one recently when he dismantled an old Z1 engine.
I thought - if he has one, then I must have one so I will be a genius like him.
Well … so far I’ve only got one out of two of the above 😢
