@@peaches6453 If they don't go back to complete the obstacle it's considered a failed course run and they're disqualified. The best analogy I can think of would be missing a turn when driving somewhere, you're now lost and can't 'complete' the trip to where you're going. You need to make that turn to follow the gps directions and get to the end. It also helps the dog by reinforcing all parts need to be completed and to pay attention.

I just enjoy the fact that the dogs have fun and don't understand that there is a title and a blue ribbon at stake.
Sara we have to focus on the next obstacle cuz otherwise we will give the commando to late and the dog will take the wrong or not take the obstacle at all. In agility everything goes very fast as you can see and you have to be at least 1 obstacle ahead in your mind so you remember the course and can give the dog the right commando at the right time. This is the first time I have watched this kind of contest but I do agree. I have trained dogs in the past for behavior issues and if you give mixed signals they get confused. The dog will follow you and if you run past the obstacle before the dog is to it, the dog will always follow you.
It does no harm to anyone to give the team who did it the fastest and cleanest a ribbon and title. The dog has the same amount of fun whether they win or not.

Outstanding. I wish RUclips would stop interrupting these amazing dogs with their imposing adverts.
Woof woof.
I run AdBlocker Ultimate and uBlock Plus (both at the same time) ---- I haven't seen one single ad in years.
@@GlobalistJuice Thanks.
@@montegotheo I know, I prefer to see them before and after a video.
@@montegotheo RUclips determines if a channel is allowed to have ads or not, but the channel itself (Crufts) is who made the decision to stuff their videos full of ads for their loyal followers to suffer through - while RUclips takes a hefty-cut from the revenue generated by the channel, of course. I pay over $200/month for cable, internet, phone - with the premise behind "paying for TV/Internet" is so there is no need for ad-revenue (commercial free programming), because the consumer already paid-up-front with their monthly cable bill. I won't be snookered and/or guilted into watching commercials on the internet, when I already pay a hefty fee just to have the internet. IMO, it's double-dipping and we've been snookered into believing it's justified - it is not.
Don’t watch RUclips then .
The trainers who run it deserve their own prize
Они все заслуживают награду, за свое прекрасное выступление
I cant stop watching these agility videos! All the dogs are so cute and have so much talent... I'm getting a Cavalier King charles spaniel on saturday named Biscuit and the breeder's dogs are all show-quality, the breeder is also a crufts judje so we may enter him in for agility. Cant wait!!!
The dogs live for this! So awesome to watch this.
The JRT was killing it but got a bit excited.
Alan and tequita were so cute I watch him every year and no matter how the dogs do he always ends their races by them jumping into his arms and him catching him n I luv those kinda owners
all are winners
i love to see them playing
They’re not my dogs but Im already proud of them ❤️ I really enjoy watching agility competitions 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I hope I get to watch it live someday 🙌🏻
It tickles my spirit to see animals happy and healthy
Nice graphics for the course layout, thanks Crufts
Awesome show .It always truly work for wonderful trainer's.great coverage Thankyou film masters and speeksrs....stay well be safe.
I feel like this is just as hard for humans to keep an eye out to where the dog should go through, I saw the map and how the dogs were supposed to jump and honestly, I could never remember that XD
I’ve been agi for about three years now (not as disciplined 🙈) and in about 100% of the cases it’s me that makes the mistake not the dog
I love the presenters! I've never watched this sport before but they explained all the rules naturally and made me feel at home instantly, huge kudos to you guys!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🐾
That design itself was making me dizzy ... I would have failed 😍
😭😭😭 I feel excited and loved for all these dogs and same time I cried because of how happy I am for these smart and well trained dogs❤️❤️ hat's off for trainer's..👍👍👋
11:05 being in animal behavior, the dog didn’t actually refuse, like they said he got a bit excited and wasn’t paying attention to the owners command, not like he saw it and was like nope imma go under.
just discovered theses agility competition and it is the best entertainment i have seen since a long time. I just love to watch these dogs go nuts on the course
My Great Pyr/Border Collie mix. A hefty 125 pound girl...she loves agility...at a Pyr speed with a dash of BC recklessness. We will never break any records but watching her "smile" and wag as she comes out of a tunnel at a whopping fast walk gets me every time.
There was an elderly wire-haired dachshund in my agility class when I was training my dogs. His fastest pace was a brisk waddle, and the “jumps” were laid on the ground, but he loved it.
How I wish my internet connection is as fast as this dogs...
I really really admired these doggies. They are more than a human beings sometimes. Very smart and intelligent too! How I wished to have dogs like these. And the people who gave a true love and great courage to teach their dogs very admirable and deserving!
11:19 that look of concentration !
oh my god this competition is so STRESSFUL!!!! I keep finding myself holing my breath when they go over the A frame and the seesaw, how can you guys handle the intensity omg. I'd never heard of crufts before I saw Victoria Stilwell work with a show dog in an episode lol now I'm here and I cant stop watching these little dogs rip around the course
Lovely dogs all. I am sure that they are really enjoying the agility competition than owners. Beautiful and Amazing.
Boy these dogs are awesome, the agility is my favorite, love how them collies weave mine chase's cars going 55mph when someone leaves her out.
The dogs are really awesome but I also have respect for the owners/handlers because. Knowing me I'd trip and fall on my face doing this.
Its all about the teem work. Love Agility!
I don’t even know my left from my right most of the time. I have no idea how these pups are able to traverse this course 🤭 I’m so impressed
Don't know why I am watching this but I certainly enjoyed it.
I could never remember the route, but I'm only human.
congrats to everyone - all are winners - cheers!
It’s funny watching this, because many of the dogs only run as fast as their handler and clearly not as fast as their (the dog’s) top speed on these agility courses.
Everyone is better than themselves. Its an eye candy to watch them perform.
