Wire controlled drones are not new. They are just an adaption suitable for short range strikes. How far they can reach depends on the length of the cable that can be rolled up onto a reel on board of the drone. The ukrainians are doing the same. You are a little restricted in the maneuvers that you are able to conduct in the target area. The first news about their use stem from the beginning of 2024.

"Anyone who attacks Russia will be struck with 80 little Nagasakis." I vaguely remember this being said by a Russian general (I think) a few years ago. "80 Nagasakis" was definitely said. So where does Russia stand now?
I think their too smart for that. It would not be a proportional response. I guess they’ll wait 2 months to give a chance for Trump to stop support and force negotiations but may retaliate by taking out US satellites used for targeting
Russia will likely respond in an indirect way through their proxies. Giving houthis advanced weaponry or trying to sink a US warship whilst pretending to be a houthi. Either way Russia has the contacts to have the west fighting fires all over.

Since GPS signal is scrambled, to axhieve high precision one must use satellite image recognition technology. Only USA and Russia have that technology, Europeans not. And USA is not giving away full access to that technology, which means their personnel must be involved.
The decision to throw these specialists into the trenches signals more than just manpower shortages-it’s the death knell of Ukraine’s capacity to sustain itself as a viable military player. If the specialists who once repaired helicopters and aircraft are now clutching rifles in mud-soaked trenches, who’s left to keep what remains of Ukraine’s military equipment operational? The symbolism here is rich: a country whose leaders sold their people on promises of NATO-backed strength is now so depleted that it’s cannibalizing its own critical workforce. What comes next? If highly skilled specialists are no longer exempt, the ripple effect will soon extend to every other sector. Doctors? Engineers? Scientists? The machinery of Ukrainian society is being ground into dust, sacrificed at the altar of a war that Kiev has already lost. And all the while, its Western patrons grow increasingly indifferent, their attention shifting to other theaters of geopolitical drama. The message is clear: Ukraine has been wrung dry, and now it' literally to the last Ukranian. For Russia, this is yet another vindication of its strategy. The strikes targeting Ukraine’s military-industrial capacity are achieving exactly what they were designed to do-systematically dismantling Kiev’s ability to wage war while exposing the hollowness of its Western-backed promises. The conscription of specialists is not a sign of resilience; it’s a glaring red flag that the system is collapsing. The question is no longer if but when Ukraine’s unsustainable mobilization policies will push the nation beyond the breaking point. - TheIslanderNews for Intel Republic

The speculations...are killing me
What happened to the new doctrine, the ukroatack yesterday did not meet the requirement for response,I guess.
I want to thank for your briefings every day. You put a lot of effort into it. Though you sound younger it seems that you have been to war collage and you were an Officer. You know a lot about tactics, planning and weaponry. you always seem to strive to give balanced analysis while remaining neutral. Thank you, it is a welcome departure from the drivel that we normally get from the news sources in the west that seem to be more propaganda than anything factual.
F16 can't carry scalp or stormshadows .
Dima must maintain pro Ukrainian rhetoric so that RUclips doesn’t ban his channel 😂
Russian Generals don’t speak for the Russian Government.
Russia will likely respond in an indirect way through their proxies. Giving houthis advanced weaponry or trying to sink a US warship whilst pretending to be a houthi. Either way Russia has the contacts to have the west fighting fires all over.
pissing their pants 😂
Força Rússia 💤💤❤️🇷🇺
Beautiful
Problem with Short and Medium Range Ballistic Missiles is that by gaining Altitude they can be tracked and intercepted on their Predictable Path
Just Saying...
And it's not even 9 AM!
Let's go
Since GPS signal is scrambled, to axhieve high precision one must use satellite image recognition technology.
Yo yo yo wazzup? Wazzup?
As usual, far too much speculation and uncertainty, instead of sticking, modestly, to the verified facts.
Why bring facts when you can gaslight, lie and speculate? People love it.
Where can I find the actual 2024 version of the russian military doctrine?
Dima - I am not familiar with the term "terracone." It sound like it refers to a mound of earth. Is that correct? Thank you.
Mound of mining refuse, earth and unwanted materials from mining.
@@aural_supremacy Excellent, thank you. That makes perfect sense. And how is the term spelled in English? Or is it a transliteration from another language?
@@svMoorFunit's a transliteration from Russian, "terrikon"
@@SvenjaIpsen Thanks. It's a great word. Very descriptive.
I note that the terrain around Toretsk, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine, is dotted with these mounds. Are they all refuse from underground mines?
@svMoorFun yes, as there are lots of mines
We really still saying “Special military operation”
All a bit confusing, the USA are the one configuring and launching ATACAM, UKRAINE does not have the mean to do it.
