Sometimes I think Australia has a long way to go, then I hear how people thinks this is a better place for kids and I feel proud to be Aussie

To be completely fair, I reckon some places are way too ahead if you know what I mean. Australia is in a sweet, balanced spot

Keep it how it is. The uk/europe and usa are NOT blueprints for australia.

As Sams dad Im immensely proud of his achievements throughout his life but I also miss him an incredible amount, we we're very close not only in our hobbies but also our working life. For many years I knew Sam had a plan, UK wasn't for him, secretly I hoping it was just a phase that he would grow out of (there's been a few of those). He made the leap and I was behind him 100 % But to see him so happy out there fills my heart with joy, I need to publicly thank Harry for looking after him. I myself have no plans to go out there.

Skilled tradesmen are essential, and their jobs are respected in Australia! Sam is a huge gift from the UK to Australia, and I'm sure he won't be going back to England soon, and will be training our Aussie kids, and his own, a long time! 😄 Another good one Ross!👏

Hey, just wanted to say that we've been watching your videos for literrally months now and I think they have played a huge part in convincing us to take the plunge and make the move. We just got word back on Thursday that our visas have been approved and flights are booked for June! How exciting!
We went down the employer sponsored (486) Direct Entry visa and will be moving to Melbourne!
Thanks for all your videos and looking forward to even more of them!

Congratulations 🎉Hope you really enjoy your new home 🤞
As a science teacher you'll probably enjoy visiting the Questacon in Canberra, especially if you have kids, once your settled in, plan that as one of your holiday excursions.Canberra is just up the road from Melbourne (your first Aussie lesson in Australian distances🤣)

That's the oddest thing cause I'd seen his face before on tomboy_a_bit's channel as Dia was building a bike with Simmo's help. Good onya Sam maybe I'll see you on the road and I'll be on a BMW and we know what the old fellah thinks of those.

This is such a great episode. Australia is calling out for tradespeople. We need more people like Sam and to make it easier for skilled people to make the move

My dad was a machine shop supervisor in the timber industry here in the UK. Would Australia be wanting people like him?

Everythng always goes up during school holidays, whether its flights, accommodation, certain foods etc. Does this happen in Uk too? It's nice to see that people are feeling happier overall about moving here, that you are both enjoying the move, we know Brissy/Gold Coast is the best place lol

Being a Mechanic in Australia is wonderful, you can just about get a job in any town or city in Oz, no kidding. Want to make the big dollars go to WA and work on mines, hard work but very rewarding.
