Wow what a beautiful boat!
Looks like a top of the line boat, maybe compares to a Hatteras on the larger side or maybe a Pursuit on a similar sized side, anyway that boat is high end and it looks it.
Costs it too. Grady Whites are some of the most expensive boats around and they don't care. When most companies start to lose money because they are overcharging for their products, they cut the price to a reasonable market value. Not Grady White. They get a government contract to keep them afloat and then continue right on the same path that made them vulnerable to going bankrupt before. Boston Whaler also went through this. Companies like Freeman, Pulpit, HCB, Key West, Contender, and others all make premium fishing boats now that also offer center consoles with cabins or a toilet, Bentley stitch seating, upgraded marine leather or vinyl, reinforced hulls, etc. Really there to push that price for features segment.
Love the boat, but too little space behind the seats, guess this is part of hybrid boats for shallow fishing.
Captain Steve you're lookin good and sounding good. What are you buying? This or a comparable Boston Whaler?
Like to see you compare this to a 26 SeaCat. Less expensive, will run 70, and ride much smoother.
Getting rid of those captains chairs and replacing with a leaning post would save some room behind.

Total cost $658,000. What a bargain! Well I know it isn't that much, but pretty close. There are so many better options that aren't as much as a 2 bedroom 1500 sq/ft waterfront condo in Pinellas county

What’s the difference between this and a 28ft Grady white canyon?

The Canyon is an offshore fishing boat. Deeper deadrise. The 281 CE is a hybrid bay boat/nearshore/calm day offshore boat. Shallower deadrise, inshore fishing features (trolling motor, power poles).
