In this week's vlog, we're going back in time and revisiting when I visited a korean hair salon in Gangnam to get a digital perm!
Three years ago, I came to Seoul, South Korea with the dream of getting a perm to make my hair look like a Korean actress. But then the stylist at the salon I went to said no, because my hair was bleached. T^T
Fast forward, I finally grew out my hair and chopped off most of the bleached parts so I can finally get the digital perm of my dreams. I found the salon through instagram as I realized that I had saved multiple posts from them when I was searching for hair inspiration. i actually havent blow dried it since that first time heh ive just been letting my hair air dry like i mentioned in the video :) the perm has definitely calmed down now and my hair is more wavy

@@AdventuresofAwkwardAmy wow, it s kind of expensive -I am from Canada, I believe that a haircut+ perm here cost max $100 in chinatown (a tiny bit more in caucasian hair salon)

@@KhanhNguyen-hy3yv oh wow that’s so cheap!! A haircut is like $50-$60usd here in salons.
I would def compare this salon in particular more similarly to caucasian salons though since this one was located in gangnam and run by a more well-known stylist. I’m sure there are places in Korea that are way cheaper!
