The reveal of childhood friend being his sister blew my mind! And then I started thinking about it more after rewatching that scene - not only she is the otaku buddy that mc mentioned in episode 1, she is also the sister he messaged about having the thing for legs after the feet incident. I absolutely love their chemistry! Sister wins the best girl reward so far, but Alya is close behind, especially with all the fan service in the changing room.
This thing is perfect. Animation, VA, comedy ...... just prefect. It perfectly hits the spot.
The cameraman is a very cultured individual, thank you for those amazing angles! Itadakimasu While Kuze’s sister is a troll, I love her. A lot of best girls in this anime.

@@chol3295yeah like that guy said, not too closely. Remember the so-called "revealing" outfit she was wearing in ep 2 that made her embarrassed? The outfit was taken from the light novel, except for the part the skirt was supposed to be a miniskirt but the anime for some reason made the skirt normal length. Which was a very strange decision because the entire point of the skirt was that it was supposed to be skimpy and daring.
Episode 2 really shows how powerful Yuki really is, she brought the wincest, seemingly rode her brother, tormented and embarrassed Alya, all in a single episode, she cemented herself as best girl of the series.
Yuki is a chaotic little gremlin, and I love it.
Episode has a nice introduction of the MC’s sister. So good Alya and her cuteness shines. Yeah a real twist on that that had my head shaking. 😑
You picked the "wincest" line too - I mentioned that on someone else's reaction comments. I sometimes love localization.
The one I watched did not have the word "wincest" in it. Localizers just throwing in their slang and not what the actual words the characters were saying.

I loved the first episode and then episode two was even better. I love the sisters true personality, she’s a perfect mix of a brat and otaku, she’s perfect. I was laughing my head off 😂😂😂. This anime is cultured, comedic and more. I need episode 3. Also my personal favorite moment was honestly when he woke and saw her, for some reason hearing her say “good morning my brother” in that way makes me laugh so much. It’s probably because it reminds me of how todo says brother in jjk, it’s so similar but hers just gives off such smugness it’s glorious. Second moment was during the sorting when she’s jealous how she’s not getting attention from him was just so adorable. Next Wednesday needs to get here faster . Lastly yes, I enjoyed the fan service, good cultured taste 👍

The first episode was really like Welcome to the feet club Kuze ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°). So far really liking the series its the away she speaks in russian to hide what she feels and our boy pretends he does not understand and barelly holding back from saying anything is too funny. Been a while to see Brandon this flabargested with spicy series like this.

if i remember correctly i saw someone speaking about alya finding out the true sibling dynamic between the two fairly early (most likely will be in the first season), it is also apparently very complicated. the person who said that also confirmed that the sister doesnt stop being a teasing demon and i am all here for it
So yeah about that last outfit that was supposed to be the revealing one...they completely censored/changed it for the anime but they kept the reaction the same for some reason. Go look at the manga to see just how scandalous the thing she was wearing really was to understand the reaction. Alya was running high on those compliments and got really daring.
to be honest here.. this Anime has more Ecci scenes and cultured angles in the first 2 Ep's than other Ecci Anime in the entire Season xD i for sure wasn't expecting it to go this hard into it xD

Episode 2 is one of the best episodes I've watched in a long time I laughed hard through the whole beginning, but then the wife gets home from work and sees right at the changing room scene .......
As funny as the sister scenes were, what got me were the times Alya completely lost control of her face to the point of becoming a cartoon character. I did not expect this show to do something like this and it caught me completely off guard.

Fun show. Idk why its confusing to her for two childhood friends to get off at the same station. To be childhood friends usually means you lived close together. She also had "popped into his place that morning" as well, implying she's close enough to casually do that regularly. Itd be more weird to not get off at the same stop.
To be fair she did see them go in opposite directions after the dinner with the president so she probably thought they didn't live close together anymore
Her favorite anime is the last 3 episodes of Yosuga No Sora

I was ready to hate on this show for being so popular when sounding so boring from description. First episode shook my conviction a bit but second episode broke it. I completely gave up on hating anything about this anime around the half of the episode. The final straw was "Doesn't saying that make you cringe?" "I'm cringing super hard" said with the smuggest look she had so far. I noticed in first episode that there was something about that smug look Yuki had in first episode but I would never expected her to be his sister. She is so great. This gap between this perfect persona she has at school and cringy tomboy weeb she is in private is godly. "wincest" "it's only good if they're blood related" "getting a stiffy". Author and translators cooked. And this is without even mentioning this constant engrish like "my brother" Todo style XD
If quality of dialogue will be on this level it may be one of the best anime of the season
Feet is the new safe-fanservice :D but regardless of that this episode is really good... the fanservice is good but not too much prevalent.. it is a really good high school rom-com with a not-too dense MC... :)

I like mc's like him who act nonchalant and not the total wimp mcs. Also 1st episode he told Alya he stayed up talking to an otaku friend about anime.. 2nd episode they kinda led me to believe it was his sister he was referring to
Beautiful. And she's mostly right. In most cases, wincest hentai is only good if they are blood related.
One exception to that rule is Overflow or My Brother Slipped Inside Me In The Bathtub.
I will however say i would only support this in fiction and hentai, and NOT REAL LIFE but....
well it should be morally okay if the female involved does not get pregnant.

If winter was the season of spicy sus anime then summer is the season of romance anime. This show is one of the best new ones and right now all I have to say is that the sister is my favorite character so far for multiple reasons including that wincest statement. That is all.

i enjoyed the first two episodes
What a lovely show this turned out to be I have been interested in this show since last year when it was announced. But despite the hype around the show, it somehow did exceed it. Like I really love just how much Alya is teasing the MC. And this MC seem to have more chad energy then you typical romcom protagonist as he actually can say that she does look cute with a straight face. I especially love how Alya also speaks Russian.
But the best thing is the fan service that we are getting. As last week we got feet and this time we both got wincest from the sister Yuki. And some panties and thigh shoots of Alya. Which is just to lovely to see😍
So this really is my kind of show and I’m not ashamed to admit that!
Yuki is an absolutely hilarious addition to this show and her no-fucks given degen-schtick is awesome. I hope you'll keep covering this one and keep enjoying it.

I don't know if I'm too old for these kind of ecchi genre. Me in 2014-2015 will probably like this kind of anime, when I'm still shy or feeling guilty for looking into these kind of topic. But nowadays if I want r18+ content, I just look it up on the internet, rather than being tease without them actually doing it.

Alright alright alright. I see roshidere. I click. I hear wincest. I spam. Culture-aside, I like the animation. Reminds me of Violet Evergarden and KyoAni. The banter between MC and Alya is comparable to Suzumiya Haruhi and Kyon. But what I like about this show is the atypical romcom dynamics between lead guy and girl. Not too cheesy. And then the bed scene of siblings. My goodness. Good morning My Brother is the newest alarm tone. Thank you sir for covering. I agree that this series is not a niche but it strikes a chord (and it's prolly A minerrrrr) Something universally approved by the anime community.
