Yeah, Harper is gonna keep lying to herself that she doesn't love Phil. Harper is so foolish to keep protecting Drew who has cheated on her so many times when on the other hand Phil would do anything to see her happy. I can't believe Phil still cares so much for her.

I haven’t completely lost hope for Harper and Phil, but I feel the need to mentally prepare myself for a VERY long road before they even have a chance
I know this is a soap opera and played for high drama, but just once I'd like people to ask for a lawyer before being questioned by the police. Also, Cassie was knocked out, she shouldn't be questioned until after being medically evaluated for a concussion.
Drew with the harsh truths to Harper. I knew Louisa would die. No matter Nicole’s state of mind it was justifiable in that Louisa was going to do anything to get what she considered her baby back.
I hope Maeve, Nicole, and Cassie come out of this better and stronger family......

I'm new to this show because Harper and Phil introduced it to me. With everything I have watched, which has been a lot of other storylines as well, there have been several mentions of Harper leaving her family. Can someone explain all that to me? I want to know the backstory but I really don't know anything about Harper and Drew's relationship and marriage before Phil.

She got post partum depression and it go so bad she left the family and rode off on her motorbike for about 3 months with no contact over 2021/2022 break. There is a series of videos by 100% Shipper that goes into all the back story for Harper's queer history as well as Harper and Drew, she has a playlist on her channel.
I think Ria was probably pregnant at the time. She conceived a baby via IVF and her child is very young so it must’ve been around that time.
The writers had to explain why Harper’s not gonna be there for such a long time
From memory it was her maternity leave after giving birth.

I kind of need drew to not forgive her so they can finally get the divorce. On that note, I think Harper is being crazy, but I don't think she is trying to hurt anyone. She has loved drew for years, of course she would be mad at the blackmailing and still she defended Phil's career... (I fear I'm as delusional as her lol)
To be honest I don’t see much of a future to Phil and Harper. Specially with Harper obsession to keep fighting for her marriage… makes me wonder if she really cares about Phil

Harper and Phil definitely still want to be together but can’t but drew has every right to be upset or annoyed because harper kept it from in and made him feel crazy, drew is getting a bit to emotional with it in work but it’s not his fault

New Zealand doesn't have a constitution.
New Zealands constitution is an "unwritten" or "uncodified" constitution. Meaning it's not a single document, but a sum of multiple legal documents.
Besides that:
"In New Zealand, the right of persons arrested to refrain from making a statement and to be informed of that right is contained in the Bill of Rights Act 1990"
So yeah, they have the right to remain silent, but apparently they are ignoring that here.
Not like shows (especially soaps) usually stick to stuff like that.
