I just want to take the time and thank you for these videos bro. I own a 18 accord and I'm a bit cautious in doing diy work but seeing your tutorials give me the confidence. Thanks a lot bro! Keep em coming!

Thanks for the video! Now, how is the upper portion of the B pillar trim removed? I'm trying to bring the rear portion of the headliner down a bit...

Alright, thank you for this video. Im planning to put my excess deadening mat and acoustic foam behind the B pillar of my Mitsubishi Lancer. All the 4 doors were done at the autoshop and the difference in sound quality is day and night. However, I still noted some unwanted vibrations on the B pillar panel but was not sure how to take it down. Again thank you for this video.

Is there another name for the step pad (either front or back)? My accord needs new front step pad, B pillar, and rear step pad on passenger side

Were you doing this because of the annoying seat belt spring rattle? Were you able to resolve? Thanks!

@@BrbJogging Nope. It's driving me nuts. How this could be happening on so many of them and there's no recall or anything and the dealers say they dont hear anything is crazy. There are these little plastic pieces back there that the metal is rubbing against that are the culprit I believe. If you google enough there is one honda forum where a guy posts a picture of them and where he took the plastic pieces off. IIRC he said that was the fix for him. I've been too busy as of late but Im going to try it eventually. The only thing is it seemed like his picture showed them at the bottom, whereas the noise is coming from the top so who knows. Good luck!

@@AhYesIndeedItsFunTime I just fixed it! If you take the lower panel off your B pillar the noise is coming from down there. There is a nylon insert (press fit) that is in the metal frame where the seat belt runs through. I believe it is there so your seatbelt doesn't rub on the metal and fray. Anyway, that piece appears to be bowed and is the source of the rattle. I grabbed two pieces of thick tape and taped both sides of the metal where the insert vibrates against. After that the noise went away. All in all it was a very quick and easy fix and I recommend taking the time to do it. If you have any questions let me know!
