#Comedy #YesMinister - Приколы
I liked how the show started with Jim waiting for a phone call for what Minister role he will get and then it ends with him waiting for a call to be made Prime Minister.
It doesn’t end here tho
@@jordan3400 Well it sorta does. The series "Yes, Minister" ended here and the next one, "Yes, Prime Minister" succeeded it immediately after.
Just like how the Godfather starts with a wedding and ends with one.
@@nicholasfallbrook9810 q0 selamat malam!.
I love u. Gutennacht!.
in the timespan of around 5 seconds he goes from jim hacker to napoleon bonaparte, brilliant.
I love when Bernard says "gosh".
It's such a Bernard thing to say.
I remember watching this when it was first broadcast. I was too young to understand it obviously, I was 8 or 9, but my memory it was as soon as it finished my Mum turned to Dad and said "the next series is going to be rather interesting then"! I'd never seen them so excited at a TV show before!
I loved how he got himself into that stutter.
And Humphrey enjoying every minute of Jim’s anxiety attack with his yes’s on the phone.
'Yes' can't be having a joint anxiety attack with Jim Hacker on Humphrey's phone - Bernard.
In this case, with civil service assistance, Hacker successfully demonstrates 'climbing the greasy pole' all the way to the top
The finest UK comedy programme EVER
One of the most wonderful moments in comedy history.
Party games one of the best episodes
So superbly played by Paul Eddington there
Cut off the bit at the end when Hacker does his impression of Napoleon Bonaparte, ah well...
Yes, I was waiting for that!
I always thought it was Churchill!
His manner of speech when he's trying to be 'righteous' and political usually resembles Churchill, but the hand in the shirt and over the stomach is Napoleon.
Wasn't he copying churchill?
I remember watching this episode at the time being very sad thinking that the series Yes Minister was ending but then being so happy when Yes Prime Minister was announced
Brilliant tv series all round.
Absolute gold. I never tire of watching this.
I would far rather have Jim Hacker as our P.M. than the shower of miserable incompetents that we have had for the last thirteen years. 😠
Not much vocabulary but Hacker says a lot. IMHO they all do.
He asked for that, there were lines in the script that he said I can do this better with just my face, he did it through all of them
@@69mosshead The writers started noting in the scripts which lines they thought Paul Eddington could drop in favor of just expressions, if he wanted to. The man was a genius performer.
As always, my favourite except is here and as expected didn't disappoint 😌
Absolute gold .
Just showing Some love📌
If only real life imitated art to decide the next UK PM as quickly as this show did.
Sir Humphrey shouldn't call Hacker prime minister until Hacker has been to the palace and kissed hands.
It's more for the dramatic effect so they suspended reality for a moment
It’s a comedy series not real life dummy and is done to get a laugh obviously
But then they wouldn't say the name of the new show: "Yes, but not until you've been to the Palace" doesn't have the same ring to it.
It's just the verbalization of reality. Hacker was going to be PM, the trip to the palace was just a formality.
🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍👍👍
And six years later, John Major would become prime minister in almost the same way - Thatcher was challenged by Michael Heseltine, she quit, and those who'd supported her and couldn't stand Heseltine threw their support behind Major.
It’s not a comedy series it’s a documentary
Gute nacht🧭⚓🗺️🤬
I hope the evil sod who came up with the two phone gag got what was coming to him
I ( kekees) havent done them(salat) eother🙄😡
Tony Blair.
More like Gordon Brown; say what you like about Blair, but it was the British people who installed him.
Yg menVur Nil ditmnku sdg selesai hiduonya alias SD xh. Tamat. The end.
Why does a man hide their feelings?.
Because a lot of other men will see feelings as weakness, and go for blood.
Sleepy,lazy, thirst,
Why why why does anyone waste their time putting a couple of mins of a show on here? Do the whole thing or dont bother. Id love to see the whole episode but search all over and youll find hundreds of yes minister full show titles but it rarely more than a min or two. Whats the point?
i know, thats why i bought the dvds years ago. can't rely on the online world for shows you love
Do what I did bought the box set watch it when I want
I would wager that the point is to generate as much revenue as possible. Ten small clips with ads at the beginning will probably be more profitable than one full episode with two/three ads in-between. And we all know how unpopular a video can get if they have more than 2/3 ads. 🙄
@@stanle1101 True, although more of a self promotion type deal. In fairness, its a bloody miracle anyone alive still remembers this show.
@@stanle1101 these are free vids im talking about. Im not talking about taking a full show and breaking it into several pieces. Im referring to the ones that are 1 to 2 mins in the middle of a scene thats all on its own. If you dont know the show you have no point of reference. Most of the time its not a funny part or dramatic scene. Its just some dip shit uploading anything and everything and i guess the fun part for them is when they title it full episodes or all seasons full episodes. You click it and find 70 pieces of 50 different shows.
