I just wanna point out how Belos kept saying "it's almost like the titan was trying to hide the glyphs from me" (or variations thereof) throughout the series and how Luz didn't have that problem and then we see KINGS DAD I just love it man
OHHHH. I thought the writing on the wall said “I gave up my man for you.” Palisman makes a lot more sense. Though it does beg the question: how many people knew what Belos did to them? Even if he said he would destroy them, I can’t imagine they knew Belos consumed them, unless that was a rumor whispered about the castle. A rumor you would hear far, far too late
Could just be that they felt terrible since they sacrificed their pet for him and he ended trying to kill them. They probably didnt know the extend of his consumption
I think it was known to an extent that Belos consumed the palismans, I can't remember the name of the episode but it was shown in a scene where Lilith went to see belos in his throne room (this was before she joined the gang) and belos told her to wait a sec before cracking open a palisman not just infront of her but his guards too so I think it was known to an extent but maybe noone talked about it out of fear or maybe it was told in hushed whispers and it just became a rumor.

A few other details I found interesting though probably obvious: - The first scene in the dreams, none of the characters, except for the ones dreaming, have a shine (or "white dot") in their eyes, which is unsual since the eyes are pretty consistent throughout all of the series, meaning that something was already off - 2:11 Luz makes sure to bring an umbrella because of the boiling rain
There's something I noticed when rewatching this show. The kids in the Detention Track don't have the shine in their eyes either, which is odd. Usually if a character doesn't have the white shine in their eyes it's for a significant reason.

On 0:30 I think the characters are dressed as THEIR biggest fears like hunter being the golden guard, Willow in her uniform, Gus at grom, amity at her house (bit of a stretch) and even Lilith is dressed up as when she worked for belos
Thank you for mentioning the photo of luz and vee graduating together. By far my favorite detail it warms my heart that vee found a loving family and basically became Camilla’s second daughter :(
When you go through the photos next to the “headmaster” room; It’s actually Raine and the Luz and King duet, not Lumity. You can see by the skull shape next to Luz. Not purple hair😅
2:39 Pointing out Luz’s tracks on her pants. Do you think it’s a coincidence Amity was Abomination(cat), King was Titan, Raine was Bard, and Eda took the potion track. JUST LIKE HUNTER HAS REFERENCES
On top of the headmaster's door where Eda's come from, there is king's dad's light glyph, as well! Considering its importance in the story, I'm happy that they decided to carve it so that it could be remembered forever.
i absolutely *LOVE* how Titan Luz’s “NOW EAT THIS SUCKAAAA” was animated it was just so mesmerizing the first time i say Watching And Dreaming, and still is evey time i see the episode.
5:15 Another parallel I noticed Here his hand falls off while Caleb stares at him Well in the finale, his hand gets scalded while Titan Luz stares at him
Everyone has been pointing out how Luz's glare at Belos mirror's Calebs glare at Belos, with those two being the only humans Belos trusted in the Boiling Isles and both g̶o̶o̶d̶ ̶p̶e̶o̶p̶l̶e̶ people who turned against him. And that's good. But what always gets me about that scene is how he says "We're human. We're better than this!" As he is a melting pile of goop sustained by dark magic and she is a clawed, horned, black-eyed titan. They are both so far from being human at this point, and yet he's still clinging to the title like it'll keep him from dying. It's poetry.
@@fer_nanda4509I don’t think he abandoned him, given they fell into the boiling isles together, and memories in Hollow Mind show they were hella close. He just felt abandoned because Caleb stayed and saw good in witches while Belos was too far gone
I also want to note some stuff I noticed that it seems no one really mentioned.. You can see that Luz got better at school with the A+ anddd she got a literature scholarship (in other words, she finally got her writing skills recognised) it is easy to miss with the Polly pin but it is there, the whole wall was filled with amazing Easter eggs and details that are just chef’s kiss
The patches on Luz's pants are her BI family!! Eda is the potion bottle, Raine is the music note, King is the Titan symbol, and Amity is the abomination cat!
The new door was obviously created by the Collector, and King is wearing his symbol as new bandaid. Although King is treated as a "he", perhaps the Titans are hermaphodits. So Papa Titan could be also King's mother, without the need of a mate.
How about this one? The Snaggleback is said to be the most powerful demon on the Boiling Isles. His voice actor, Arin Hansen, plays the actual most powerful demon on the Boiling Isles: The Titan.
Ok, but seeing as Eda's curse is also a good representation for mental illness (like depression, and anxiety) the fact that belos tried to blame all the terrible things he did on a 'curse'? *Chef kiss* great way to sum up his continually toxic arc, fits wonderfully, hopefully kids can learn to watch out for that sort of thing in real life. We did not deserve Terrace and her amazing writing.
This one’s more of a theory than a detail but if you look at the old portal door it looks like it has the titans missing eye on it implying that he made the door.
Also in Luzs dream, her and Amity “fighting” is a parallel to the Eda vs Lilith fight in Agony of a Witch!! They are even in the same spot as the fight took place
3:45 Dana hinted at the coven heads palisman having a reveal which leads me to believe that was there palisman as the instrument but can be argued because they technically breaks it
1:28 I noticed that too. I had a feeling luz would come back to life as well. So in the scene when it showed kings dad pulling her out of the water, I got super excited that flapjack would be there too 🥲
When one of the things said “August 21 is the day before luz’s dad died” I didn’t think about it much, but then rewatched it as I realized, august 21 is my b-day-
and it would make sense that the collector's favorite games are older ones because he's been trapped for so long also EDA AND RAINE SWAPPING EARRINGS IS THE CUTEST FREAKING THING EVER IS THAT THE BI'S VERSION OF ENGAGEMENT RINGS SWAPPIGN EARRINGS WITH YOUR PARTNER IF IT IS IM GONNA CRY
"I gave up my Palisman for you" is tragic tbh. Also, 2:48 is so interesting, I never saw that little detail before but the idea that Caleb is the one that carved the mask for Philip, who then hid behind fancier and fancier versions of that mask as he rose in the ranks to become Belos, is kinda... eerie to me. Like Belos' whole fake identity revolved around a nice thing his brother did for him, at least in a visual sense.
Anyone else notice that the titles for the last three episodes have a hidden message? Thanks to them, for the future, watching and dreaming. If you take the first word from each title you get “ thanks for watching “ I thought that was very cool.
Also, When Hunter is carving a palisman for the wardens son we can see he has braces! (They finally figured out how to use them, hopefully not for making their kids magnetic)
GOD I LOVE THIS SM 😭😭😭😭Love seeing all the little details, and even learning things I didn't catch till now-- AND THE ENDING !! LOVE TO SEE THE CALLBACKS !! (love the one with Luz quoting The Good Witch Azura so much) GRAHH tysm for this awesome compilation 🙏🙏💥💥
Another thing i find interesting is that the bat vee gave to camila before she went to the demon realm is similar to the bat beta luz has in the drawing by dana
So, one thing I noticed is that, in that scene in King's Tide when the gang fights Philip, just after Philip does that manipulation thing to Hunter, he looks at Flapjack, seems to recognize it, and then goes berserk. My theory is that Flapjack was somehow related to the original witch that Philip's brother chased into the demon realm, and seeing as how Philip most likely killed that witch and his brother for loving that witch, it makes sense that he would recognize Flapjack. Furthermore, seeing as how Hunter is a grimwalker made from Philip's long dead brother, this theory also explains why Flapjack took to him so quickly, despite the fact that he was being kind of a jerk.
Something I never noticed before until now, but the dude who got the Illusion Sigil at 3:29 gets paler as the Sigil runs through his body! I wonder if that was true in other cases where people received sigils?
I love the Flapjack tattoo detail, it makes the Hex Squad seem both mature and badass... I MISS THE SHOW SO MUCH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Here his hand falls off while Caleb stares at him
Well in the finale, his hand gets scalded while Titan Luz stares at him
0:51 "I gave up my palisman for you" LIKE MAN THIS IS DEEP AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO CRIED AT THIS
Everyone has been pointing out how Luz's glare at Belos mirror's Calebs glare at Belos, with those two being the only humans Belos trusted in the Boiling Isles and both g̶o̶o̶d̶ ̶p̶e̶o̶p̶l̶e̶ people who turned against him.
I dont think Caled is that good, much like a negligent brother, since he abadoned Philip when he was probably a teenager
@@fer_nanda4509I don’t think he abandoned him, given they fell into the boiling isles together, and memories in Hollow Mind show they were hella close. He just felt abandoned because Caleb stayed and saw good in witches while Belos was too far gone
3:05 the poor kid finally got some sleep. About time
the show was 1000% amazing and very rewatchable
The flowers on FlapJacks Grave being forget-me-nots killed me 😢 beautiful detail but so heartbreaking as well!!
Ohmigosh, noticed now that in minute 3:56 we can see Hooty in a flower on principal Bumps apron- (so much details, my heart is going to explode)
The BYEEEE at the end always makes me tear up making me realize the show is over :(
3:03
The fact that the flowers Willow made are forgetmenots 😭😭😭
I actually think it’s a great detail that the fact that the first person we see getting a coven sigil, is also the first taking it off
2:03 I’ve noticed how sharp amity’s chin gets omg
The patches on Luz's pants are her BI family!! Eda is the potion bottle, Raine is the music note, King is the Titan symbol, and Amity is the abomination cat!
The new door was obviously created by the Collector, and King is wearing his symbol as new bandaid.
Although King is treated as a "he", perhaps the Titans are hermaphodits. So Papa Titan could be also King's mother, without the need of a mate.
I'm pretty sure, when Papa Titan said "I'm king and queen best of both things" he was refering to himself being King's dad and mother
How about this one? The Snaggleback is said to be the most powerful demon on the Boiling Isles. His voice actor, Arin Hansen, plays the actual most powerful demon on the Boiling Isles: The Titan.
2:08 Just noticed the book also has versions of Eda and King behind Azura.
0:27 kinda looks like alador was trying to protect emira and Edric
2:19 Polly has always been watching, waiting for sprig to give her a chance to attack.
Did u also notice that one of the basilisks is holding eda’s sitar
Edit: the moon also had a skull
No no I’m actually tearing up from the graduation photo wait
Thank you so MUCHHH for putting that Raine plays the Viola. I remember seeing music sheet in the show with alto clef, which is for violas.
As a violist, Im quite sad to find I wasn't paying enough attention. Let's pretend I either forgot or just saw alto clef as normal at the time 😅
Ok, but seeing as Eda's curse is also a good representation for mental illness (like depression, and anxiety) the fact that belos tried to blame all the terrible things he did on a 'curse'?
*Chef kiss*
great way to sum up his continually toxic arc, fits wonderfully, hopefully kids can learn to watch out for that sort of thing in real life. We did not deserve Terrace and her amazing writing.
I see it more as a chronic illness, one that was also affecting her mental health bc of the rather terrible nature.
@@RHTQ1 I also like this interpretation! The Owl House is so great
This one’s more of a theory than a detail but if you look at the old portal door it looks like it has the titans missing eye on it implying that he made the door.
I'd like to think the little Hooty growing out of the empty eye socket is also a hint that King's dad made the portal door.
“i am now king and queen ! best of both things!” - papa titan and king :)
Also in Luzs dream, her and Amity “fighting” is a parallel to the Eda vs Lilith fight in Agony of a Witch!! They are even in the same spot as the fight took place
I just noticed the Bat Queen’s babies in the very end group shot are teenagers now wearing side swooped hair, bucket hats. and mohawks! 😂 I love it!
3:45 Dana hinted at the coven heads palisman having a reveal which leads me to believe that was there palisman as the instrument but can be argued because they technically breaks it
Raine uses they/them pronouns!
0:00 the "light breathing" is actually a beat of a heart
its literally right there 😭
3:19
Lilith : “This is my apprentice, I have taught her well, she is the future of the Emperor’s Coven”
Lilith 1 day later : “Ami-who ?”
That final "NOW EAT THIS SUCKA!" just hits different.
Also another thing, when Raine was by themselves getting restrained by belos’s uh- goop? They whistled Raine’s rhapsody/ Edna’s requiem!
1:59 WHOA EDA THERE ARE CHILDREN PRESENT
1:28 I noticed that too. I had a feeling luz would come back to life as well. So in the scene when it showed kings dad pulling her out of the water, I got super excited that flapjack would be there too 🥲
3:04 Oh, I've never noticed that before. Our boy've finally got a peaceful life and a healthy amount of sleep. Good for him.
Here’s another thing: when the collector is crying and sitting alone, the box he’s up against looks remarkably similar to a star box from Kirby
If you look at the paper Luz is holding in 2:35 then you can see that one of the things on the paper says "BI History" which is just amazing
When one of the things said “August 21 is the day before luz’s dad died” I didn’t think about it much, but then rewatched it as I realized, august 21 is my b-day-
and it would make sense that the collector's favorite games are older ones because he's been trapped for so long
also
EDA AND RAINE SWAPPING EARRINGS IS THE CUTEST FREAKING THING EVER IS THAT THE BI'S VERSION OF ENGAGEMENT RINGS
SWAPPIGN EARRINGS WITH YOUR PARTNER
IF IT IS IM GONNA CRY
I love how they beautifully made the ending come full circle to the beginning 😊
"I gave up my Palisman for you" is tragic tbh.
Also, 2:48 is so interesting, I never saw that little detail before but the idea that Caleb is the one that carved the mask for Philip, who then hid behind fancier and fancier versions of that mask as he rose in the ranks to become Belos, is kinda... eerie to me. Like Belos' whole fake identity revolved around a nice thing his brother did for him, at least in a visual sense.
3:12 abomination's eyes are yellow now
3:01 I started crying 😭
Anyone else notice that the titles for the last three episodes have a hidden message? Thanks to them, for the future, watching and dreaming. If you take the first word from each title you get “ thanks for watching “ I thought that was very cool.
your comparitiveediting was fantastic!! and i especially liked the compilation of luz's catchphrases at the end!
4:55 that smile from Eda 😁
3:04
Out of all the cool, interesting, and nice things mentioned, this made me the happiest.
MAH BOI FINALLY GOT SOME FUCKING THERAPY AND REST!! 😁
Another thing i find interesting is that the bat vee gave to camila before she went to the demon realm is similar to the bat beta luz has in the drawing by dana
I love how this entire video is about details and callbacks you might have missed except for 1:49 which is just Belos needed to Stfu
Wow, this was a great video. I can't believe how much I missed.
IM SOBBING, THANK YOU FOR PUTTING ALL THIS TOGETHER
0:52 belos eaten palismen and he said on the wall i gave up my palismen for you
2:38 I also saw someone point out that Hunter might've been the one to stitch those patches onto Luz's pants
3:41 FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE RECOGNIZES THAT IT'S A VIOLA
2:38
The symbols also correlate to the two major couples of the show: Raine, Eda, Luz, amd Amity
I MISS THE SHOW SO MUCH
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I still find it crazy that Luz name means Light, which freaking foreshadowed so many things on screen.
