sophomore year of HS here my grade in ap world hist is affected by whether i submit notes on the lectures/videos or not and in pre calc, my teacher does get annoyed by people who dont follow along with her for notes unlucky lol i'd like to fully give your technique a go but i think i need to modify it to fit me. thanks
Yeah, I would 100% take notes if your grade depends on it. I also wouldn't want to get on a teacher's bad side. I found that I had a lot more freedom as a junior and especially a senior. When you are a freshman and sophomore they tend to require work, but as the years go on they expect you to have the self discipline to do what you need to do to succeed.
@@yux8331 As for this, it just depends on the teacher. I would probably take some notes if the slides were not posted as well. The main thing is making sure you prioritize actually understanding what is being taught rather than simply getting it down on paper. I tend to see students write everything down when they most likely don't have to.
tomorrow is my last day for finals and then im on break focusing on understanding over writing defintiely helped me a lot and i started to ask more questions out loud. im definitely happy with how i did this semester thanks 👍

also none of my teachers also post their notes/slideshows
if i were to ask they would just tell me to write during class 🤷♂
