Thank you - this is so adorable - I just made pair for my little baby doll and they fit perfectly! I'll use this pattern over and over again. UPDATE: I've made so many of these little shoes for my doll. I just made a pair of the boots in brown with black trim - they are so adorable I wish I could send you a picture. I made a pair of red shoes with a strap for Christmas and a pink pair for Valentines. I also made a pair of pink slippers with darker pink pompoms from this pattern. It is very versatile and very easy after you do it a few times.

Karen, I just want to thank you for all your videos. I have been able to relieve so much of my anxiety over my soon-to-be-born twin granddaughters, who have struggled so much since day one, by listening to your calming, lively voice and crocheting along with you. I converted one of the patterns for the hi-top booties to be more like Converse and I had no idea what I was doing (and hadn't crocheted in almost 10 years) but it came out just right.

Update: The girls arrived March 2. Aurora is 1 lb 10 oz 13 1/2 inches and her feet are perfect for the one- to one and a half inch booties I mistakenly made. Nova was born one minute later at 3 lbs 5 oz and 15 inches. (Two days shy of 29 weeks and on my sister's 50th birthday.)

@@aussiegrace How sweet of you!!! Nova, who was 3lbs 5oz, came home May 2021. She is walking, says a few words and weighs 25lbs. Aurora came home in August 2021 with a trach and gtube. The trach was removed less than two weeks before their first birthday (March 2) and she still has the g tube. She weighs 16 lbs and is three inches shorter than her seconds- younger twin sister. She crawls and pulls up and can take a couple steps while holding the edge of the sofa or someone's hands. She is making some consonant sounds but no words yet. Mommy is teaching both sign language just as an additional communication tool. Nova knows three signs so far. Mommy and Daddy expect them to have an Australian-Oklahoma accent because they are both obsessed with the cartoon "Bluey". Ha! Thanks again for asking!

Thank you for the pattern and the tutorial! These are perfect for the Corolle baby doll that my daughter has. The booties are ever so slightly big, which is good for my 5yo's little hands to work with and I put a little bit of beading elastic around the top so they were stretchy and stay on. I made the slippers for the girl doll and the longer booties for the boys.
