No u have to disable system integrity protection. It’s a feature automatically enabled on Mac’s to stop third party unidentified software such as cheat engine from doing what it was designed too. As it’s not on the App Store it won’t be apple certified. There’s tutorials on how to disable SIP. After you’ve done that just boot up ur mac again and it will allow cheat engine to override settings. Personally I use my windows for cheat engine, I don’t want to cause any potential harm to my mac. Use it at ur own risk. After you’ve used cheat engine id advice u to enable it again otherwise it allows any other software on ur mac to have admin right to override settings. And u never know if u have something bad downloaded somewhere and enabling that might just allow it to embed a virus onto ur mac.
@@mela7084 there will be other security settings on ur mac then blocking it. I had just tried it after I posted that reply and got it working on mine. I’d turnt off firewall and all the security settings inside settings whilst logged on and in terminal. Macs and Apple in general are very funny about allowing u to do things like this ideally u need a windows!

if you are on mac, it may not appear as "ml.exe" and as something else, also make sure that you have MSP open whilst you do it and the correct version of it
