I had Scott Steiner right in my face screaming (at people behind me) once, in the parking lot after a show. They had the bike rack barricades out there separating a section for the talent parking lot. Everyone behind me was yelling "roid rage" at him. This was the WCW Nitro where Russo/Bischoff reset everything and took every belt and started the New Blood. Steiner was in a car with Jeff Jarret. A sedan. I think Scott was driving and he was pressed against the door on one side and Jarrett on the other. Jarrett was also against the door. They took up the entire horizontal space of this car. Steiner was huge. Anyway, that big guy screaming in my face while not sure if he was really going to beat someone up (he'd recently been in trouble for that several times..) isn't something I'll forget soon. I came across this scene by accident since I couldn't find my car and had to walk around everywhere to find it.
@@anonamatron Thats a great story thanks for sharing 😊 sorry you paid to see that show too 😂 if you havent seen Ring Ka King footage Scott would terrorise the audience jump the barrier and the Indian fans would run for their lives like a hungry tiger was chasing them 🤣 he looked like he was having a lot of fun doing this. Id love to know how he was responding to the "roid rage" taunts you heard
@@gbrooks2 I saw it. I enjoy My World more than Jeff's matches. I would recommend MarkyD's coverage too. He interviewed Nick Aldis & Jimmy Rave about it and reviews the shows with footage so you get a lot of detail about it
This promotion grew on me. It was zany in a good way. To be honest, had the timing been different, as in this promotion was back in 2004 or 2006, I could have seen it become bigger than what it was.
If you think ring ka king is a obscure tna project then was there another project that never got picked up all wheels wrestling i think it was i remember hearing about it about 15 years or so ago
The only reason India didn't overtake China decades ago was the Pakistan split, which was enforced on them when invaders sided with earlier invaders, as opposed to the Taiwan split, which was mostly an inside problem. The India Pakistan Split is also what killed wrestling in India, not just pro wrestling but even their own national grappling sports, which had been largely funded by the Maharajas. There have been several attempts to bring it back, and the fanbase is definitely there for it, but no one has figured out a winning formula yet. I suspect there are too many economic and social issues in the country that still need mending before pro wrestling can become a regular thing again.
Comedian Gabriel Iglesias, aka Fluffy, talked about a show he did in India and he talked quite a bit about the traffic and the system they used for honking horns. He said that the only time traffic stops is if there’s a cow on the road. (Due to the fact that cows are considered sacred.)
I hadnt heard of Ring Ka King until MarkyD123 covered it extensively. The Indian audience looked genuinely terrified of Scott Steiner 😂
Get Ur bricks ready
“My World with Jeff Jarrett” podcast covered Ring Ka King just a few weeks ago-highly recommend!

Ring ka king was the first wrestling show i have ever watched, child hood memories revisted here nice work sir dutch
Love hearing all the stories Dutch has to talk about. James and Dutch make a great team. Im hooked on this channel
As an Indian, I found this very entertaining to listen to 🤣🤣🤣 very apt coverage
Still think something like Ring Ka King could be a goldmine in India if they could develop a big native star, a huge potential market right there.
Ironically Kurt Angle also acted in one of the Indian Serials while he was in TNA. I saw that commerical in a Bus while I was touring in India.
With regards to what Dutch said about the Indians wanting the English back to run things. Ditto for HK.
Socialism sucks😕
@@sstrykertnone of these countries are in any manner socialist
Don't stop it going all over the place, James. I love hearing Dutch go off on a tangent. Let him ramble.
I remember watching this on RUclips when it came out i liked it nothing great but i had with it

The babyfaced chubby guy from that show is legendary now lol !
The Indian locals running from Scott Steiner has to be the funniest thing I've heard on this clip!
MarkyD123 put summaries of the episodes up.
Totally hilarious
Be funny if they all started doing that Indian dancing and singing like you see on those bollywood movies.

Great story
Wahoo McDaniels and Jay Strongbow are tag Champs emeritus
Where's the sounds in the beginning?

I consider them tasty
The real question is did India pay the boys good/was repeat business?
It was not a caste system what you witnessed..it is money system which speaks...Caste discrimnation is outlaw now as colour discrimnation in US.
I'd love to know Dutch mantell thoughts on Jeff Jarrett and jay lethal as a tag team in AEW
I wonder what the wrestlers were paid....the American ones...the Indian ones.
Trains haha
Maybe they should pay some extra females to come in for AEW shows instead of just the ones their boyfriends dragged there !
