Thanks for excellent explanations. I want to be clear about Depth measurement in Axial plane. Our transducer is laterally on the body, but since we are cutting actual spleen in a different orientation from actual longitudinal spleen, in fact now we are viewing actual depth from superficial to deep, therefore under transducer is superficial part of spleen(anterior) and opposite to it is deep part of spleen (posterior)so should not we measure it vertical on screen(image)?
