I could.......but naw
Maybe they added the breathing in on purpose? I mean go back and watch like every movie or have a conversation with someone who is under a good amount of stress. Breathing noises in most games makes it's characters more believable. Not talking about the obnoxious mouth breathing from characters in a game who ran like 20 feet and sound like they're dying.
The city is called Lost Heaven, and yeah, it's mostly a Chicago clone
Favorite franchise
Dude this game was pure garbage on console omg. You can’t even kill anybody because the aiming is so terrible. Everything about the console port is bad. I returned it to Amazon it was unplayable on ps5.
If only we could have gotten this level of treatment for the Ezio Collection
Finished it and ezio collection is decent but this would have been nice
My assassins creed 2 crashed my ps4 and corrupted my game save so I just moves on to brotherhood
They really need to go back and do something with the old games the franchise has gotten so bad lately it’s not even assassins creed any more it’s just as fantasy period games with ac slapped in the title
@@thatfamousredneck6422 or just use an xbox lol mines doing fine
assassins creed 2 is one of my favorite games ever. that being said- i spit in its direction after playing the ezio collection
As a Chicagoan, I very much appreciate the accents in this game. Some of them are a bit exaggerated, like the hard "R" in "car", but by and large, the voice actors nail the Midwest/Chicago-style accent.
You mean the “ah” sound as in, Get in the F’ing *CAH*
@@thekindbud8898 that's the east coast dawg, they range from soft Rs (New York, Pennsylvania, etc) to almost no R sound at all (Massachusetts/Boston, New Jersey, etc), Midwesterners on the other hand over pronounce their R sounds (cAR, bAR, dARn, bEAR, whERE and so on)
There is also Irish for all ya lads to be heard, accent not language, like with the cops, especially Det. NORMAN, and a' course the police dispatch!!
@@thekindbud8898 No, he means hard R as in "Get in the F'in cer!"
As someone that grew up on the south side it was the first thing i noticed when playing the game. Lol.
Funny you mention 2023 and GTA 6. Commenting this in 2023 after the release trailer of GTA 6 and I will say these graphics still hold up amazingly well. I have never been a stickler for graphics in place of a great game but that sense of realism and attention to detail just makes the game so much more immersive. Truly a masterclass of a remake.
This was the most underrated game of 2020 imo.
It is awesome but it was horrible launch and much more shit.. Bad npcs and everything.
Still not as good as original game from 2002 lol
Not to mention that in remake, they totally butchered the moral of the story
@@Chujometlofuk How explain please?
@@tonid8295 I don't recall a horrible launch. The game on launch was more stable than Cyberpunk 2077
I wish they would’ve did Mafia2 the same justice, I love that game as well
I think incorporating physx back then came and bit them in the ass for the remaster. Other than the eyes and the physics issues it's well done.
Yea but I dont think mafia 2 is old enough for a full remaster
@@dickkickem6472 It is if the promised to include all the cut content from the original, I'm sure they'd end up making a fortune off of it too, and they wouldn't have people asking for a mafia 4 for awhile so they'd get a bit of time to really craft and put together another piece of work like the first two games of the series too.
I don't necessarily think the game needs a full remake like Mafia 1 (although I would still love to see that), it just badly needs at least an update. The so called 'definitive' edition for Mafia 2 actually runs worse than the original version on Steam which is really strange. I just wish they optimised it a bit better and made it a little less clunky and janky.
Guys, remastered Mafia II was released cca month before Mafia remake. It is called Mafia II definitive edition. It is just graphic remaster.
I was so mad no one included this masterpiece in their list of Top 10 Games of 2020. Whenever I pointed that out in the comment section I was mostly roasted. This is why we don't have nice things. This was easily one of the best games of 2020.
There's a huge amount of idiocy in the 2002 release fanbase. Many despised the 2020 remake for not being an exact 1:1 copy of the original, and while certain aspects are an actual downgrade (trams and trains not being rideable), there's so many areas the game improved upon. Missions got more depth to them, more dialogue, more character involvement. Sarah got an actual arc and her relationship with Tommy has more to it than just the awkward scene back at her place. Gameplay was ok but playing in classic felt like a good throwback to the relentless police chase, many unnecesary driving from the OG got removed and improved upon the general flow and rythm of the storyline. A good chunk of the overall game lenght in the OG was virtually added through driving back and forth from one point of the map to the other, and people seem to believe this made the game great. It didn't. I know the game came out in 2002, but the city was sometimes barren and having to do all the backtracking in such an empty place during missions wasn't exactly the best part of it.
@@francocavecchia8246 Totally agree!
@@francocavecchia8246 I completely, 100% agree with what you just stated.
@@francocavecchia8246 I'm not complaining but I read that they took out a lot of cool features from the original that would've made the remake even better. They're basically saying, "don't fix it if it ain't broke." I'm not complaining since I've never played the original or remake but this is what I keep hearing from them. I have no doubt that the remake is good, but if the og fans are disappointed with this version, the original must have been one heck of a game. Honestly, if a game went from a masterpiece to great/good, wouldn't you be a tad bit disappointed? I'm sure the remake is still amazing though. I'm still gonna buy the remake tho because I also think it looks better.
No, you thinking that everyone needs to have the same top 10 games is the reason.
Dude the original mafia was the first game I ever played and completed when I was a kid. I'll never forget it. Its still one of my all time favourite games and this remake really brought back a bunch of good memories. And the small changes in details of the story which they made really made the story feel more realistic.

Mafia 3's story are actually great it wasn't just well translated in the game.
Mafia 3’s story was a bit cliche but overall a good idea. What backfired was the gameplay/missions. It’s always sabotage this group of people! Then fight the 2nd in command. Then fight the main boss of said group! Everytime over and over it just got annoying above all else..

Hi from Slovakia, remember playing original game in 2003 it was great and must say they made a good job with this remake.
This was the best game that came out last year, it’s a shame that it went unnoticed.
It was between Mafia:Definitive Edition & Ghost of Tsushima
@Hue Wong looking back the Combat on the game was literally the Batman:Arkham series
@Hue Wong Never the less everyone can make his/her own decision. My route is usually only snatch it once its cheap enough on psn (if u dont hapen to be a physical collector)
I kinda like that you can hear people breathe. To me it feels more real, People breathe I don't mind hearing it. It's like your there.
I know that is backwards because in real life you do not tend to notice peoples inhale/exhal in conversation. But thats my take on it lol
Mafia is so underrated and has some of the finest story telling in any franchise. I'm so glad I got to experience this game so young. I remember I was 3 or 4 years old and my dad would let me play on his computer and the 3 games I would always pick to play were mafia 1, GTA3 and Max payne. Yes I was allowed to play these games at 3 years old. Mafia was always one I came back to no matter how old I got.
When Luke said that Mafia was the first real narrative driven game, I thought of Max Payne which IIRC came out before Mafia. Both were legendary games but I give MP the edge for being able to be modded, unlike Mafia. I am excited to try the remake.
@@michaelhunsinger8351 you can mod the original Mafia
@@michaelhunsinger8351 What? Theres plenty of mods for Mafia... the biggest one being the Titanic mod thats going to come out after something like 15 years in the making :D
That race is definitely not easy still. I never played the original but, man, I loved this remake. I wish they had a photo mode because the setting is so beautiful. This game deserved way more attention then it got, if not only for the massive amount of work put into it.
Yeah, in the original, which I have played through like 10 times(no seriously, and I still remember the map by heart) I completed the race in the first1-2 tries on the hardest difficulty. Playing definitive edition on Classic I couldn’t get back from bertone to even start the race no matter how many tries I gave lol
They can still work on it but they not making any money of this game, sold bad, prob no mafia4 theyll work on other games
I beat the race on first try on normal settings … just brake a little before the curve , never while on the curve , and don’t accelerate while in high speed on curves , brake a little on straight line before the curve and turn without acceleration, just control the wheel, around 80% out of the curve accelerate again and voila !!!! same while on the streets , turns in high speed without acceleration gives more control angle
@@RobertC1107 bullshit man. the remake is so much easier. You hardly couldve finished the race(in the original before the patch there was just one difficulty, so youre boasting) in 1 or 2 tries, if about 70% of the playerbase were pleading Dan Vávra, the maker of the game, to make it easier, since they couldnt get past it. They even made a joke about the fact that it was unplayable back in the day inside the mafia DE.
I was playing on medium difficulty and the race began to become very boring and annoying - I'd be in first place and then on the final stretch of the third lap (just after the final curve) one or two dudes would magically appear out of nowhere and overtake me just before the finish line - seems massively rigged against you. This is the only part of the game where I had to switch the setting to 'easy' to get through.

The fact that there are still missions in the free ride... the fact that there is a free ride.... BRAVO 2K.... Bravo
I had to pirate the original because I couldn't find it anywhere several years ago and immediately played it and loved it. I was so ecstatic to hear they remastered it and remaster is a lowly term I use compared to what Hangar 13 did to the game. They basically created a whole new game with the same story and loved it even more. Then I realized they did that for all three games and decided to play all 3. Such an awesome series...
Just finished the game on classic difficulty! I love what they did with the remake, and I hope the series has this feel in the future.
I'm so glad you gave this game some love. For me it was the GOTY last year closely followed by Ghost of Tsushima
I started playing this game yesterday and I can’t put it down. I was concerned about some of the driving but the mechanism works great. Driving is no problem. Absolutely love the soundtrack, it’s fantastic. Having so much fun.
They did a good job with this game but I wish they would add some side objectives that helped you explore the open world more. Your own safe house too would have been great. Same goes with mafia 2 though. Another big beautiful open world that didn’t have much to do in it.
I started with Mafia 2 and was so blown away by that story that I desperately wanted to play the first but it was so outdated by that time that I felt like it wouldn't really capture the magic the devs intended. I later played this remake and it captivated me, I essentially marathoned it because I was so drawn in by the narrative, the characters, and just looking around the city (I'm from Chicago so it was extra cool). The ending also made me cry and not many games have really done that.
Amazing remake and the second game is awesome too.
If this game had the red dead 2’s level of open world detail and makes you want to explore it with interesting side characters, side quests and mysteries, lore with the time period. it would’ve been goty for sure
Man, this was one of the few times where I was hyped for a game, and it followed through on EVERYTHING.
This was my 2020 game of the year along with ghost of tsushima lol. I didn't expect it to be at all. But I litterally beat it in 2 sittings. and then beat it again. I thought cyberpunk would take it's spot, but we know how that went
The breathing you speak of was absolutely not an issue to myself and added to the realism in the actors performance, it does not need a patch to “fix it”.
Man, I think you got the whole gunplay thing wrong here... This isn't really an "outdated" kind of thing... It's more of a preference sort of thing. I found it to be a VERY competent third person shooter, with realistic weapons for who you are, when you are, and where you are. The mafia wasn't going to show up with mortars, land mines, rpg's, sniper rifles, plasma cannons, etc. Those are different games man, different games. In the mafia in this time and place, or nearly any time and place, you're going to have pistols, shotguns, a tommy gun here makes sense, etc. It fits... and to me it felt fine, as did the audio on a decent PC with or without the headphones. In lieu of the cans it was a fairly potent speaker system with dual subs, 4 sats, a center, and all digital. Gets loud, has all the range, and to me it sounded like I was sitting with those people. And yeah, when someone would give a big ol outward blow it sounded like one. What it didn't in ANY way sound like, not even in your example, was a peaking mic due to being blown into directly. It actually sounded extremely realistic, as if a microphone wasn't even part of it. When I sit here in the real here and now, and give a huff out of my nose, it sounds JUST like that. When I do it into a mic and play it back, it does not. . . Not that I have some "save this games image" narrative to ride out, I don't care... Just gotta say that, I think you don't really have any ground to stand on with those two nitpicks at all. I know I used an XBONE controller when playing on PC, the only way I played.. maxed out at 4K... and it felt great. The snapping to cover, the aiming, the shooting, the guns... Was exactly what it should have been. Or at least that's how it read to me. . .
Yeah because the gunplay was made for controllers.. too much RNG and something I can only explain with the word "weird".. having a big circle where you might or might not hit the enemy felt very distracting and dont even get me started on gunplay while in the vehicle that was complete crap. The first mission and especially the ending was the worst thing about the remake. Direction coupled with very good actors performances really carried this game.
8:35 Is wildly accurate don't get me wrong, this game still looks amazing.
8:40 I love hot that line implies that by now gta6 would exist 🤣
Here playing from 2023 and I can say this game still looks beautiful
Damn. This just makes me want a Fallout: New Vegas definitive edition all the more. Just imagining it including all the cut content + not having to install mods just so it won't crash would be an absolute dream.
Bold of u to assume gta 6 will be here by 2023💀
LOST HEAVEN!!! Good to see you covering this game though
I got this game having never played it before, for my birthday because I wanted to replay Mafia 2. I was automatically in love with this game.
The story is heartbreakingly beautiful and feels like it's an HBO show, the gunplay is clunky but still usable and the driving is so much fun, I just wish they used the map more
4 times i've played Mafia Definitive Edition. Can't get enough of it i've found myself to be really connected to the characters and their lifestyle and whatever situation they have to deal with, i feel like i'm actually there experiencing it with them. By the 3rd and 4th time i played it i feel like i've known the characters personally and been ard them for years and not view them as just game characters anymore. It truly is one of THE BEST cinematic single player experience it's such a chill game i dont see how you can possibly hate it if you're into the world of Mafia not to mention the open world in it is freaking gorgeous and feels so alive and playing it in Noir mode gives off a totally different vibe which is a huge plus having that feature

"However, in the modern day, it's basically unplayable" Yeah I'm gonna go with a hard, strong disagree on that one.

It is, most people will not want to play the original game cause it aged very poorly
@@talpatv512 Yes, but that doesn't mean its unplayable, just that people are fucking dumb.
Same reason people complain about old RE games even though they get stuff done better than the remakes.
Oh so the tank controls have a small learning curve? LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE
"I can't move the camera boo hoo." Guess what, people who never played videogames before struggle controlling the camera and the player at the same time. So newer conventions are flawed as well.
It's just a matter of perspective and how willing to give it a try you are. I'm sure the OG Mafia does -some- stuff better than the remake. A perfect remake, in theory, should provide a replacement for the original. The only remakes I've seen get pretty close to perfection in that regard are the Bluepoint ones.
@@tommapar "Just that people are fucking dumb"

@@bengercak8391 It's not elitism. I just trust in people's ability to deal with the jank just as they did back then, and still enjoy the experience but no, they prefer to complain and replace perfectly fine games with mediocre remakes like they did with RE3. Imagine not going back to watch black and white cinema because it doesn't have colour.
This is what the GTA Trilogy deserved
Rockstar doesnt care they just care about milking gta online
The driving physics of the original game is very misunderstood. Just because something is more simulation than arcade doesn't make it bad. It has some of the best driving physics of any open world game, and I had a blast in the race. I had to do it multiple times to learn the circuit, but once you had learned it, it wasn't that hard. Races in most other games are so easy you can basically crash in every turn and still win. The driving in Mafia DE is pretty good when on simulation setting with manual transmission, but the original is still more realistic, challenging and fun.
This game really is amazing. I did not play the first one, however, I can still feel the huge jump from the original to the remake. Great game.
This was the kind of review i was looking for on this game. A little history, a little comparison. This is the perfect review. Thank you and i love you.

The comment about the breathing on the mic was fair if you didn't like it. But it was an artistic choice and not a flaw in the microphone or mixdown.
I personally like that they left the inhales and exhales in, it felt true to life and similar to older films such as the godfather.

I love the remaster but cutting down on the initial taxi section was wrong. You were supposed to hate the section, it was supposed to be boring so that you feel like Tommy and understand why he went and worked for the mob.
Why ? Seems like a dumb idea, instead in the remake he went I the mob cause everyone treated him like shit
Notification squad... Jokes aside, Mafia Definitive edition really DID something incredible...
I thought GOTHAM was supposed to be NEW YORK, not CHICAGO.
My one complaint of this game is the actual gunplay which I thought was subpar, they could have given you more ammo for weapons you have while picking up enemies weapons and such, and also I could not stand how bad the movement animations were. I can't stand seeing Tommy running with a Thompson or a Shotgun or any of the two handed weapons. I can't stand that when he jogs with these larger weapons he holds them with one hand and looks stiff, and also when he sprints he's still holding them with one hand....in Mafia 2 you had a better movement in that regards. Mafia 2's issue was when walking up stairs Vito walks normal instead of bending his knees upwards. At least they fixed that in Mafia Definitive Edition.

No, they didnt make it for the "younger players", they made it to hold up to modern standards. The originals voices dont hold up at all, completely outdated.
@@thechosenone2123 in the original voice over (czech) they used the exact same voice actors they did 20 years ago. how are they outdated then?
About the fact you can hear the voice actors breath: I thought it was intentional and made the game feel ever so slightly more immersive seeing as in real you would, of course, hear people breathe or do those short sharp exhales as a way of saying ha ha without saying it.
Can we get an analysis of the Infamous games? They’re so under appreciated.
Just recently finished the definitive version. Had never played the original as it’s one of those games that was always on my list but never got around to it, but I absolutely loved it. I didn’t even know a definitive edition was even made for it until I finally got to it on my list and saw everything was updated. Instant buy and even went ahead and got 2 and 3, even though the reviews are mixed (and I know the DE versions for those are nothing like this one).
Had some issues with my 144hz monitor and constant flickering and stuttering, but got it all sorted after a few tweaks. I still have a few issues here and there, but the experience was still enjoyable.
I even went and downloaded a few mods to play in the free ride mode and it’s been pretty fun. It’s definitely satisfied my craving for a 1930s-1940s open world styled game just for the aesthetics alone. Highly recommend people check it out if they’re looking for a good story to play.
Honestly I would like a Witcher 1 and or 2 remake. Same story just with modern resources.
3 doesn't need one. Like its years old but it's still gorgeous and amazing. The other two are eh. Like you CAN enjoy them but it stops others from getting into such amazing stories

The original is perfect you can't change my mind
Exactly. This remake is a huge spit in the face of the original. Changes to characters and the entire message of the story. Play like Uncharted/Gears of war... absolute disgrace
@@nomercy8989 gears of war doesnt have a memorable story, uncharted has a completely different genre in story, same with gears of war, atleast recommend some other mafia genre Games, also from what i have seen and heard, yes they cut some things like riding trams, etc. But they gave The (i think, again, havent played it, seems great though) love interest an actual arc while in The original there was apparently just one awkward scene at her place to develop her a bit, they also seemed to have removed some unnecessary driving around and instead put that dialogue somewhere else, atleast that is what i am guessing, it seems both faithful but not blinded to see a "outdated" game as perfect, improving in some areas but failing in some others, i personally enjoy remakes that dont blindly follow The original and do Welcomed improvements like demon's souls remake, all there i have to complain about is The easy to exploit ai, though if you still think this remake is shit while The original is better that is of course ok, it is your opinion and I respect it, sorry for writing such a long reply

I really don't like Mafia DE. Maybe it's just emotional, since I really love the original, but they've taken way too much artistic freedom with this one. Yes, it looks great, and that's a common theme with modern games: they look marvelous, but the content is crap. First of all, the characters are cartoonish. It's as if they didn't try to make the characters look like humans, but a style of animated Disney figures, and they even sound like cartoons. The next thing is the game holding your hand all the way. You're not supposed to discover the city and it's characters, but just follow the track. go to the diamond, turn here, go there to make the quick time event happen. Next thing that annoys me are the phrases used by the enemies "taking cover" or "reloading". Is this a shootout between two gangs, or the storming of Normandy? They've turned Salieri from the silent, thoughtful Paulie from Goodfellas into just a decent bloke. This Salieri is not intimidating, he's just your friendly neighbor. Every mission seems like rinse and repeat. Go there, trigger event, event=ten dudes with guns starts shooting, kill them, pop back home for tea and medals. It feels like a skinsuit. They've taken one of the greatest games of all time, improved the graphics and dumbed it down.
I played mafia 1 in 2003 and the DE in 2023 and I prefer the DE. I understand your complaints especially about the gameplay but I think it's silly to act like the original didn't also have cartoonish characters. Tommy was flat, I never cared when he died in the original. His relationship with Sarah was meaningless and only relevant to one mission with a silly sex scene. Yeah, a guy in 1932 is going to have sex with a woman out of wedlock on the first night he meets her. The scene with them sharing the couch was very touching. Mafia 2 is my favourite though
@@bajscast I'm not saying the original didn't have some issues, but is was in the childhood of TPS. Cringe back then was a stamp of approval. GTA SA, RE4... In the original, you have the "Big Dick" incident. It was cringe, and some teenage humor, but the characters didn't come across as "goofy" in the same way the DE characters do. Paulie looks like a frog and talks like a Cartoon Network character, not a bad impression of Joe Pesci. The lifelessness of the old characters, I would say were much more intimidating, than the new ones. I agree with you, regarding M2 being the best one. A perfect balance, but already the first DLC, Joes Adventures derailed, and it all turned into an arcade game and then continued in Tony's Revenge or whatever the second DLC was called.
I hate how you didn't give MGS any credit for being a narrative masterpiece in the late 90s and early 2000s
Was thinking the same thing.
I like the breathing matter of fact i believe that it makes the lines so much more realistic. I mean sit down and have a conversation with someone and you'll hear plenty of noises like that. And even then it adds character and depth to how the lines are delivered. Other than that this is a great review

It is a good remake, but they still managed to alter the story in stupid ways. No idea why they felt that their brilliant story needed alteration anyways.
jason shriner said that one of the reasons Naughty Dog is remaking TLOU is because they haven’t created a game for Ps5, so the safest project for them is to remake the first Last Of Us.
Which makes sense.
Also it’s weird that he didn’t said it in his article and decided to talk about it afterwards in an interview.
THANK YOU!!! Couldnt have said it better!
Seriously though. I was 11 when Mafia 1 came out and I LOVED IT! It has a completly different feel and you can now mod it and fix many issues with it. Def Worth a play aswell!
Mafia: Definitive Edition is a buggy mess that plays like a 2010 game. People who think this game is actually impressive must have terribly low standards.
After i played this, my conclusion was that the game was hindered by some of game breaking bugs, and sometimes some jankyness, no audible cutscenes, crashing, sometimes janky gameplay. Lack in features like RTX, DLSS, fullscreen no border, making it troublesome alt+tabbing this game (sometimes crash)
BUT.... Amazing and exciting set pieces, such a fantastic storyline, amazing cutscenes, sometimes felt like an extremely high stakes TV show. and after i finished omg, i wanted more! It was too short! Not to speak of the whole quest line that was cut. I call this game underrated, but also such a tease...
Crashes in this game were not a thing till 2k added their stupid ass launcher in the game, but its easy to bypass the launcher tho so at least thats that, i hate 2k
Didn’t this remake severely dumb down the AI and mission structure from the original. It’s fun but it’s pretty basic all around and the setting is the only major novelty tbh.
Getting into cover in the original was quite difficult because it did not have a cover system
Mafia: Definitive Edition is a terrible remake, it removed a bunch of the original features and replaced them with just scripting everything.
I want to play games, not watch them. It's the exact same problem of scalping that Resident Evil 3 had. Lesser. But, it's the same problem.
Mafia 1 is garbage compared with DE, im sorry but if you prefer gameplay over story, mafia might not be for you. mafia 1's gameplay aged like milk anyway. There are always the ocasional nostalgic lunatics like you
@@talpatv512 God. I love look at screen. Very cool!
@@CommissarJimbo thats what you do in most games, look at a screen
I never played the og, but I liked this game a lot.
I know it was going to have the same gunplay as mafia 3 so I was not taken aback.
Late to the party but I had never looked into any mafia games or played any and I saw this was on gamepass and let me tell you I was not disappointed, it’s rare I find a story game that feels fresh now a days. Everyone needs to play through it
He thought GTA 6 would be out by 2023 lol. Not even out yet in 2024
I appreciate your content and honesty!! lol but something about sponsors make me cringe every time , but I understand completely why you have them. non the less stay blessed my friend!!
This version of mafia is the first time I've felt like I was looking at real life in a game. Something about the way they handle sunlight and darkness is just so perfect
Original made me want to develop games and then... few years later i was blessed to work on remake, cycle closed
man mafia 3 being the first game i played was criminal like the 1st story is so good
Subbed. Such a thorough and sincere video.
Loved this one just recently.. definitely replaying tooo...
I just completed this game as of 19th July 2023, having never gotten the chance to play the original. I loved it. Played Mafia 2 and 3 first before entering this game and I loved how much improvement and passion Hangar 13 have poured in compared to the story of Lincoln Clay. Surprised that this wasn't listed as one of the best games to play at the time it was released. Certainly made it one of the best underrated narrative action games.
Really great to see this game getting some love, feel like it was overlooked by other mammoth releases when it came out but it was personally my GOTY in 2020. I loved the OG Mafia game so much when it first released and they absolutely nailed the remake.
I don't actually think people will look back in a couple of years and think it looks dated since we are kinda hitting a point in time where the visual quality is only marginally improved year by year but regardless even if it does this remake will still always hold up for me. Great analysis Luke, was a really good watch, thanks for giving this game the attention it deserves :)
