      Nice video. Shooting F-Log 2 what ND filters do you use?

      Firmware updates sorted most of your problems. Though a couple of updates affected the autofocus.

    The ISO and dials problem was fixed by Fujifilm in a firmware update months ago.

    Great video👍I believe you can assign the front dial to ISO if you update firmware!

      Can confirm, it's possible. :D
      Fingers crossed they add de-squeeze and/or waveforms. :)

    My first love camera was the Pentax K-1, I could go on and on about how great that camera was (and still is!), but my demands changed and eventually saw me seeking a system outside Pentax for work. I bought an XT4 and persevered with it for a good year or two, I liked some things and hated other things, I never quite gelled with that camera. Eventually I replaced that camera with the XH2S and this is where I fell in love all over again. This IS a fantastic camera packed with feature rich options and customizations with ergonomics to boot. Like you I have the Sigma 18-35 with a Fringer and the 50-140, those would also be my two lenses I recommend investing into the system (irrespective of video or stills).
    Keep up the good work.

      Thank you my friend. Always appreciate you dropping by and sharing your thoughts. I'm hoping this camera will keep me going for a god while before and to switch up

    It’s crazy hearing you talk about starting on the GH5 & how it made you think about doing this as a career then making the switch to the XH2S and feeling like it was a risk!
    I did the exact same thing & also rock the trusty sigma 18-35 as my main lens 🙏 you deserve a lot more subscribers, Your content is quality!

      Thank you mate that means a lot. Yeah that journey from getting the GH5 to here has been crazy. Love the setup at the moment, wonder how long it will last. Thanks for getting in touch, it’s always nice to hear from someone who’s had the same gear journey. Great minds hey haha. Best of luck bud

    3:49 to be fair, I feel like a lot of people are moving towards that 4K 120fps while it is really not that much of a must-have feature and certainly not a deal-breaker if you don't have it in a camera.

    Thanks for a great video! I've been watching for a little while and wondered, if the XH2s is out of one's budget, what would you recommend as a solid substitue or stepping stone at the entry level? Hope you don't mind me asking a question that's not quite about the XH2s itself! Cheers.

      Firstly thank you! But secondly, you're fine asking about other cameras. I have been using the XS20 a lot recently - think its a great camera. Had it 3 months now and loving it. Definitely not a bad entry level. Hope that helps

    Hey man: Great video! Yeah Viltrox started to make great lenses. The 13mm, 27mm and 75mm are great. I would stay away from the older lenses though, as they do not perform as well as the competition. I also had the 70d 18-35 combo back in the days: was awesome. I kept the 18-35 quite long after I switched to fuji, but eventually switched to the 16-55 because 16mm is one of my favorite focal lengths. How cool would it be if they build a 16-33 1.8 versions for fuji. I would buy it right away :)

      Oh yeah a 16-33 f/1.8 would be sick! Let’s hope fujifilm are listening in haha

    I mainly focus on stills, portraits, architecture and fashion photography, which one would be better for me, XH or the XH2s

    • @Jay_Ducker
      @Jay_Ducker  10 месяцев назад +1

      If you mean the XH2, I would say that. The XH2s is more of a hybrid camera i my opinion

    • @ericmorales1934
      @ericmorales1934 10 месяцев назад

      @@Jay_Ducker exactly I meant the XH2, since the XH2s consists of 26MP and the other one is 40MP, but which one is more appropriate for what I want to do as a beginner in a professional atmosphere of photography

    • @Jay_Ducker
      @Jay_Ducker  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@ericmorales1934 As a beginner, I would direct you towards the XT5 or maybe the X-S20. Both a lot cheaper but both quality cameras. Remember getting the right lens/lenses is just as in important

    Is it a mono mic, can only hear one side of the headphones 😅. Great video regardless. I want to get this camera, my X-T4 is really doing my head in!

    • @Jay_Ducker
      @Jay_Ducker  10 месяцев назад

      Hey thanks - appreciate it! Just checked the mic situation and played it through my headphones and seems fine. I was borrowing the XT4 from my sister and I was also getting frustrated with it! Definitely worth the purchase!
