Thank You! You heard me ☺️🤍 I LOVE middle grade books. I think you're the only Indian booktuber that specifically spoke about middle grade books. Wonderful recommendations! Looking forward for more. Love and regards from Karnataka ♥️💐🙏🏽
Hi Susmitha, I love your videos. Your look & the way you talk is Soooo soothing. This video especially was sooo soothing. My interest in 'middle grade' books started after seeing your book shelf tour. This video came at the perfect time. Thankful for your content❤ More love and power to you
As you yourself had mentioned that there are no bad books........I want to tell you that I am not that much into fantasy genre. To be true to you, fantasy and self help will be the last choice. My choices mostly constitute classic to modern literature, and a lot of non fiction. To give you an example, I would say 'The Help' from Kathryn Stockett. Further, the list would be unlimited. Surely, you would know better than me. Life is too short to read all. But I prefer female authors from different Indian languages, as they have more psychological understanding than men. (that's what I believe 😊)
If you don't mind me asking, are you a Tamilian? If so, have you read 'Thirukkural by Thiruvalluvar' and 'Cilappatikaram'? I am asking this, because one of the books that I am reading right now on my Kindle is 'The Tamil story - Through the times, through the tides'.
I'm so happy to be stumbling upon cool youtubers from my country. Do you mind telling me which camera your are using? And yeah I love middle grade books too.
The girl who drank the moon was not so good read for me. It felt forceful and dragged. I URGE you to read Pony by R J Palacio. It's Beautiful! I've not seen anyone recommending it. I've been recommending it so much to so many bc it's worth owning a copy and reading. This is the book that got me into reading. Easy. Unputdownable. Heartwarming. The girl, the cat and the navigator City of the beasts are good too. 👍🏽
That sounds amazing, will definitely add it to my TBR. ❤️ thanks for the recs😊 all the three books are something I haven’t heard about. Can’t wait to check out 😄
@@readwithsusmitha you're right! I've never seen anyone recommending these either. They were very new for me as well. I can understand your excitement. Can't wait for your review on these books. ☺️👍🏽
It depends..mostly not more than one hour. Maybe in the weekends I read a bit more. But there are no specific time limit or anything it depends on the book I read.
Have you had a chance to check out A Wish in the Dark by Christina Soontornvat? If you love middle grade, I would recommend this book to you and would love to hear how you like it.
