This is a 1-hour study session with no music.
Nov 11th is Remembrance day in Canada and I'm wearing a poppy to honour Canada's Fallen.
As a Korean-Canadian, I am eternally grateful for the sacrifices the UN Command veterans made for South Korea during the Korean War. Canada deployed over 8,000 soldiers as combat units, making them the 3rd largest supporting country behind USA and Great Britain. The only reason why there's democracy in South Korea today is because of the bravery displayed by those who were willing to lay down their lives to fight for something greater than themselves. Without them, my mother country would have ceased to exist, and I won't be here right now. Thank you so much.

Im an international student from china and now studying in ontario, dreaming of getting into medical school in the future. I've got lost with myself but now I feel like I have somebody guiding me through the same way he's walked through a long time ago. Hope I can be like you someday. One quick comments on the intro: Korea stepped right into Syngman Rhee's military regime after Korea war and hadn't really stabilized into democracy until 1987, which was almost 45 years after Korea war. So UN army is unlikely the only reason behind Korea's democracy :)
