I've seen it with Ryan Upchurch he made a video about a guy that had 96 subs & within 3 days he had over 1k subs & is monetized now just by making a clout chasing video.

That's insane, just trucking is one of the Nicest people I've ever met in my life. I met him at a pilot one time I was having issues with my truck and he helped me out, never new me or met me before. Unbelievable how nice and helpful he was. Just trucking is a great channel and he is a great guy. I dont do trucking or work in trucking. I watch this because their good people. I had to Google FLD to see what kind of truck Tim is always bragging on. I'm up in Wisconsin and college educated. So thanks for your channel.
Pro Tip on that Traxxas: They make foam inserts and tire glue for just that reason; it happens all the time when you get up to that scale.
I second this statement. I raced a TMAXX with a picco 26 for several years. You have to use a decently stiff foam and glue the tire to the wheel, and if you ever get tired of doing that get yourself some beadlock wheels for it. I got a pair and never had to glue wheels ever again.
? for y'all could he put expand foam that's for sealing up cracks in your house ? would that work it would be like the foam filled tires on equipment
@@timatwell3728 You CAN, but it's not a good idea; mostly because the tires will wear out and he'd hafta get new rims every time he changed them. Personally, I'd use the tire glue w/o the foam inserts (they look like fat donuts), because you can seal them air tight, and get better performance due to weight reduction. Worst case scenario, you can shave off the rubber from the old tires that's stuck to the rim with an X-acto when changing them out.
@@timatwell3728 I had a Rustler back in the day, and it did the same ALL the time! That's actually why they make molded foam inserts for them. Yer local hobby/RC shop should have them available. They also have the advantage of being interchangeable and won't stick to the rim.
I also noticed the springs on the struts were all the same color which is a bit of no-no in the R/C truck world. You want the rear suspension to be a lot softer than the front when you hit a jump, otherwise it tends to turtle and ya gottah wait onna track marshall (lol). Grab a variety pack of springs next time yer in the shop so you can change them out and play around to see which sets give the best performance on the jump. You can also use shim packs on the shocks to add stiffness in the front where you want it, PLUS, you can use different weights of shock to modify suspension performance even further. Thinner oil in the rear shocks also helps to soften up the tail end, and when yer done, you want the rear end to sit lower than the front for it's normal ride height.

I subbed to this channel not because I drive truck but because how you and your son have a bond like I had with my dad. I used to got out on the road with him back in the mid 70's into the mid 80's.
You folks are family oriented and you care for your emrployees. It's just not that common anymore.
