Slowly, She's Coming 2-Gether For Ya, Thanks Kyle ! I Think The Trail Is Calling My Name In The Morning, Need A Good Cup Of Coffee Down Fern Trail & Taking My Lil Tuck Along Too ! ATB T God Bless
Great progress Kyle. A trick I learned years ago when painting rims, smear some dawn dish soap on the tires all the way around, paint the rims then just wash the soap off and no overspray on the tires. We used to do it the opposite way years ago too, dish soap on the aluminum rims then black spray paint on the tires, this was before armor all.
Oh, now that is a great idea, David! Especially when painting with a color, white or grey or something. I didn't mind with this since the paint was black. I just gave a little varsol wipe down right after. Thanks for the tip!
If you’re replacing one side you might as well replace both, just makes sense to me. Front ends are sensitive and it’s best to replace in pairs, upper and lower control arms, both sides. Expensive yes, but we’ll worth it!
Haha Came apart piece by piece, and she's going back together the same way. Thanks Trevor! I really don't like to borrow, but when I do, I try to return it as good or better (if possible) than I found it!
Good morning! Getting the wrong part is definitely annoying but human error. We always smear a bit of anti seize on the back side of the rim to make the next removal easier. We have an old deck of playing cards that we use to paint rims, you sick them in the crack and it catches the over spray. If one ball joint is starting to go usually the others won't be far behind unfortunately. We of course always watch until the end 😀 We're out camping right now, hope you all have a great weekend!
Thank you, Selena! I'm so happy you're here watching. I recommend going and checking out all the earlier videos in this build series. I think you'll love them.
@@kyle_noseworthy thanks for putting out the great content if it wasn't enjoyable I wouldn't be able to watch to the end thanks again and keep up the good work
Always watch until the end. No running boards. Black bumpers and black grill. Really looking forward to the welding on a roof and rear wall. Making progress! Persevere!
She's coming along!! Definitely go with running boards. After all, you aren't planning on off-roading with it.(Are you?) You will have an easier time getting the rims off if you use copper anti seize on them. And yes, I always watch right to the end.
Absolutely! It's a monster, but even still, I was never under the truck to the point of danger. This truck is VERY high, and the wheels were still on while I was under there removing the steps. If it did drop, no worries! :-D
Kyle I always watch to the end. Great progress on the truck. I still vote to keep the steps. Put some anti-seize on the back of your rims. That way they won't stick on.......Take care, Bluefin.
I like the look of the side steps, plus it will help when others are getting into and out of the van. Also, please use jack stands for your safety. Great video. Thanks.
Sorry Kyle, but Nascar called after seeing your tire removal and said don't call us, we'll call you. Cool video, I look forward to watching your restoration project. Thanks for sharing
Watched to the end. Hopefully NAPA can hook you up with the right part. That gets frustrating when you plan to do something and events conspire to stop you. Good on you for rolling with the delays.
Made it to the end! I say keep the mud flaps but get did of the steps. Just like you showed it at the end. Makes it look a little taller. More truck less van if you will.
Im almost at the same step......i just got the rv part off.....then im gonna inspect the motor but ya cant wait till the upcoming vids........deffinitely working those diablo blades...
I agree about the axle stands you should definitely use them better safe than sorry . I also think you should keep the side steps it looks better with them 😷
👍 Saw a 75 on Marketplace the other day and it looked like it had the same camper and cab on it. They wanted $500 for it with no engine or transmission...!
yes impact sockets are heavier to withstand the impact , but that is not really the true reason , the heaver the socket weight used on an impact the quicker , and easier it will loosen the fastener , if you ever come across a lug that does not want to loosen with an impact , wrap a few ounces of stick on wheel weight around it , and try again , it will amaze you how much of a difference in power adding the weight makes !
We have twin Vandura’s! Everything I see on yours is exactly what I have. I watched the video to the end as I always do. Is there a way I can send you a picture of mine? I think you’d like it!
Watched to the end. Pro tip on getting off those pesky rims. Wedge a piece of wood between the frame and the inside of the rim. Use the mechanical advantage of the steering to pop them off.
Nice convertible! Haven't seen you change the oil yet, did you do that off camera? Aweful light rear end hey. With nothing on there, sloping hill with solid rear axel too. Bet there wasn't much weight on that rear left.
Haha It is very light in the rear as it sits right now. That will change once the rear deck goes on. Oil was changed in an earlier video. Oil, plugs, filters, contacts, etc. Now with the rebuilt carb, she's pretty happy.
Where is your Jack stand young man? With that much weight always use at least one. Wheel paint looks better than the truck. Remember that’s the capn side step. Power steering pump sounds loose. You change those belts yet? All and all looking up bud!
Id ditch those 16.5 tires and rims they are very expensive and most tire places dont stock them and have to order them. 16 in 8 lug rims are everywhere any Chevy duaully truck rim will work up into the 90s untll they changed to metric
I see major injuries in your future if you continue to get under a vehicle on a jack. Without jack stands or something to block it up plus it’s a terrible thing for viewers that don’t know any better watching and maybe trying something you show them how to do. God Bless and try to stay safe
THERE IS A WHOLE BUILD SERIES ON THIS TRUCK! WATCH IT HERE! ruclips.net/video/8ZZNVc2kCZU/видео.html
As always, watched it all till the end.
No running boards!
Watched till the end.
Jack stands! There is a difference between being careful and thinking you’re being careful.
Oh yeah, I did enjoy the music.
The beast is getting there,no side steps is my vote
Watched to the end - good work safety wrapping the sharp edges
You have a great jack but you should be using axle stands as well. Belt and braces! Loving this project.

Keep plugging away Kyle getting er done ✅. Don’t forget to put the side steps back on though

Good on ya for being easy on your brother's socket sign of respect there. Great video love seeing the old girl come together lol after she came apart.

No sidesteps, and I as always, watched to the end. Cheers brother.
Looking great brother. Of course I watched to the end. I always do.👍
That's wonderful, my friend. Thank you!

You place a lot of confidence in that jack!
Edit: Did watch to the end. Cheers!

Love the van rebuild always interesting 👍
Thank you M C!
Great truck/Van. Enjoying the restoration rebuild. It's going to be very cool when you are done.
Thanks William! I think so too. Stay tuned!
Kyle I always watch to the end. Great progress on the truck. I still vote to keep the steps. Put some anti-seize on the back of your rims. That way they won't stick on.......Take care, Bluefin.
Thanks Bluefin! That means a lot my friend. I'll consider your step vote! haha

Cool video Kyle! I always watch to the end ! I love that you make sure it's safe for your daughters ! Take care and stay safe my friend!!!
Thanks so much Troy! That means a ton buddy. I have to protect my ladies. They're everything I have!
@@kyle_noseworthy yep I understand I have one of own !!
The project is coming along. Jack stands would be a great addition and would keep you safer. As always I watched till the end.
Watched till the end keep up the good work
Another great video Kyle 👍 always watch all the videos. Thanks for sharing..
Wow, thanks Pat! I appreciate the support buddy!
Till the end!
Great project Kyle ! Makes me want to buy and old truck myself and start a rebuild . Lol. Can’t wait to see how she turns out
Please use safety jack stand! I love your videos

Yes I did watch to the end
Love the video s I have a 87 Ford class C that I've been thinking about doing the same thing looking forward to the finished truck...

You are making good progress! I can't decide if I like with or without the running boards better. I always watch to the end!
Thanks so much for taking in the whole video! As for the running boards, I'm still decided as well! We'll see how we feel after a paint job!
Other awesome video
That KN Knives Logo would look sharp on the side of her! Throw a few Decals on her, Great way to promote your business!
I just might, Marcel! Thanks!
Your doin great man love this stuff

good timing that lol ;)
p.s nice jack!
haha Excellent. Enjoy!
I don't know why, but this whole van build project kinda reminds me of a Red Green episode...lol

Haha that's fantastic, Randy! Yes, please email me a picture. weiderfan.business@gmail.com
Yaaaaaaayy.
Yee haw! Thanks brother!
I think you should make your own side steps. You can make up some simple steps from 1 inch pipe and purchased 90’s. Black iron pipe is cheap.
Watch tell the end

18:40 reminds me of that movie “Jeepers Creepers”.
When you greased the left upper ball joint it looked like grease leaked out.
Watched tot he end. What color you gonna paint the van??
Thanks Michael! Still deciding!

The brown Turd is coming along
Definitely lose the steps
Watched till the end might miss something sure lol
that rear end is so light. You need to do burnout for distance
Haha the rear end is super light right now, but that will change once all the deck is build in place!
Is that fuel gauge correct? A full tank will double it's value! Lol
Take care
Haha I'll take mild offence to that one, Clinton!!
Watched to the end. Missed seeing your family.....next time?
GOD bless
No steps. And get some jack stands.

Put what back on? lol
But does the cigarette lighter work? LOL
haha I haven't tried it, but I'll bet it does. I have never seen one that didn't!
Where the hell is your jack stands, you have daughters to think about

get some jack stands please ! never trust a single saftydevice .
Have em' already, but didn't have myself in harms way. Thanks for watching out for me!
Get some jack stands . Your new fancy jack is not safe to be under the vehicle. Hate to see your little girls without a father.
I wasn't under the vehicle at risk, Spence! thanks for your concern. I definitely wouldn't want any harm
