Just think how crazy that is. If the top arch piece is off by an INCH, they messed up, and yet it fits perfectly.

their feet were securely attatched to the ride so if they fell off the harness would not let them go
Most people want to say NO WAY to that, but than again if you compare just a 50 year old ride to now it would be considered a thrill ride than and a family ride now.

J'aurais aimé le refaire dans la même journée mais il a dû fermer quelques fois pour cause de vents forts et de pluie.. (car il y en a eu par moment) alors pour des raisons de sécurité, je les comprend de ne pas vouloir être tenus responsables sil arrivais de quoi..
Mais on a adoré notre expérience. Je vient de Montréal (Canada ) et après avoir fait 7h de route on na pas été déçus 😊❤

This roller coaster is the first one we did when we arrived on the site .. I loved it !! I would have liked to do it again in the same day but it had to close a few times due to strong winds and rain .. (because there was some at times) so for safety reasons I understand them not to wanting to be held responsible if something happened.
But we loved our experience. I come from Montreal (Canada) and after having driven 7 hours, we were not disappointed 😊❤
@mrmix56 They use the same kind of cranes that are used to build skyscrappers with like in major cities.

It’s because you’re not lifting heavy steel and you don’t have tanked any calculations that engineers make to make sure the ride is safe for people in real life.

Well this video was well done, could have used some music thoe. The guys working on that final peice must have the scariest job in the world, at that time. even thoe I ride coasters, I would never have the guts to go out on the top of a 458 ft tall top hat, to add the final peice.

when king da ka was built the rides were still in operation. They were knoked down a few years later.

Its really amazing how everything has to be exactly measured and fit to perfection. Its alot of planning that goes into building these things and its awesome to see the finished product

Children cant physically endure the g-force and speed. It would constrict their breathing. That is why they are not allowed on those roller coasters. No one will stop making kiddie ones either. There is a market in those too.

The top thrill dragster at cedar point is the same model made by the same manufacturer, Intamin. The dragster was built first, so a ton of clueless people give kingda ka crap for copying the dragster
