I absolutely love series 2. Tsunemori really comes into her own by this point. And Urobuchi Gen basically planned for Tsunemori to develop like this and become the driving force of the series from the start. It doesn't need Kogami to be good.
Nah Kogami is legit the only good character and makishima legit was the only well done villain driving the show, once you run out of those and they start to focus on other shit, imo it become shit. Psycho Pass was only good through season 1 after that it became a slog of a show with barely any good characters driving it’s somewhat interesting plot.

Well in my opinion here’s why Season 2 didn’t try anything new, they tried to recapture the feeling of Makishima with its villain, they were way to similar and a simple fix could’ve been that he looked up to Makishima or something. The new enforcer even though he was a dick but he was just a a kogami clone. Like I feel like they wanted a the plot twist of him being bad but they just did it wrong. Season 1 driving point was Makishima V kogami but what made season 1 great was the world building, we got to see the advancement in cybernetics, classism and etc in season 1, we didn’t see any new world building things in season 2. My biggest thing is A LACK OF KOGAMI. He was easily the best character in the show and I didn’t want him to be a villain or Come back and be an enforcer but I expected them trying to bring him in (you know do their jobs). I feel like it would’ve been better symbolism (especially if you watched Psycho Pass the movie and Ss3) kogami gets compared to Makishima a ton, we see it in season 1 when saiga brings up how similar kogami and Makishima are. So I feel like season 2 would’ve been better if we seen kogami on the run, similar to how we seen Makishima. I figure who can slip in and out of the real world untraceable by Sybil. B. Akane characters, we see her at the end of the season become this badass, who is confident in her skills so much that she literally takes over the division 1 and leads the team to find kogami. We see her think like him. We see her grow and it hurts me to see her regress to guessing herself and having to constantly think of kogami at times. Like they want them to be shipped but I would’ve like if her motivation of finding kogami just made her better, like if she picked up a martial arts after kogami told her why he does it. She starts talking to saiga because he’s helpful similar to ko. It just seems like Akane just goes back to her early season 1 version and its boring. (I understand that at some points she should break down like when her grandmother is murdered), but like come on dude the constant reminder of ko and come on when the main enforcer guy was gonna shoot the bad guy from season 2 and she stops him I’m like why, you’ve been through this. You’ve seen a monster who Sybil can’t judge, why risk not killing him. Season 2 was just boring to me, it tried nothing new and I will give season 3 props it tried something new, the mind tracing, Bifrost, the way they handle religion and immigration, and I like how they kinda do real life crimes. It was just a fun ride to me

I am pretty sure, that i saw INCOMPLETE version of this opening when i first watched second season. It was on the first series and it got lack of white noise static and some undone special effects, like flash above the city after Tsunemori fires. But i won't able to find this right now. Does this even exist or it was my imagination, forced by craziness of this opening? :D
okay so the season 2 ending was alright I mean the first half of the season was kinda slow like it took time to build up for an eleven episode anime, that's why it would've been better with like 15 eps and not so much would've happened in the last few eps. the animation was amazing tho and like it was fun to watch nevertheless Sometimes it became a bit of a confusing mess- that's one of my biggest problems with psycho pass. it tries to be way too psychological at times which really isn't that good I mean. there are a couple good moments but it just feels a bit overdone later on. Like the part about being morally right and all. That's just not one of the show's strengths, it has alot of other stuff it can capitalise on. the existence of Kamui dosent make that much sense either it was pretty entertaining tho, I was hoping for some kogami but eh it's alright. I started liking akane in this season like she makes the right decisions now and isn't that influenced by her niceness like she was in season 1. team akane✌🏼. the ending was not bad at all tho and i was really happy to see the chief woman's head get blown up. im kinda looking forward to season 3 now but I looked at the poster and I don't really want new characters in the crew. also I kinda hoped they didn't make sakuya into a psycho I mean he seemed pretty normal to me at first and suddenly his flashback shows him as this little bitch psycho kid who's obsessed with his mom and murders dogs. don't murder dogs, murder your mom ffs. mhm 7/10

Because he was obssesed with his mother, and when she was going to unite with Sybil, his obssession drove himself crazy. At the start I didn't know how he can be outside having the worst psycho-pass, but when the mother revealed herself I just assume he has some inmunity to the judgment of Sybil.

the ending was not bad at all tho and i was really happy to see the chief woman's head get blown up. im kinda looking forward to season 3 now but I looked at the poster and I don't really want new characters in the crew. also I kinda hoped they didn't make sakuya into a psycho I mean he seemed pretty normal to me at first and suddenly his flashback shows him as this little bitch psycho kid who's obsessed with his mom and murders dogs. don't murder dogs, murder your mom ffs.

Because he was obssesed with his mother, and when she was going to unite with Sybil, his obssession drove himself crazy. At the start I didn't know how he can be outside having the worst psycho-pass, but when the mother revealed herself I just assume he has some inmunity to the judgment of Sybil.
