tyre has dry rot(that cracking at 1:15), it's a bad day off rapid disassembly at highway speeds and causing a roll-over. its treads still good, but its a danger to everyone on the road. I only say this because it happened to me. if you're driving around town at low speeds all it will do is go flat if it dies, but at highway speed its really dangerous. otherwise great tyre puncture repair vid.
They weren’t that bad yet. We do plan to get new tires soon for the winter though. The shop never even mentioned the cracks. They said the tires were bald (lie) and that the car was all wheel drive and we needed to replace all four (also a lie. The car is not all wheel drive). They were just trying to rip us off. In fact the same shop plugged a different tire on the same car two months ago with no problem at all. This guy was just trying to upsell two girls in hopes of making commission. Thanks for saying the video was good. I did realize I forgot to mention to not to plug a tire is the nail is too close to the tire wall. That’s an important one for those who don’t know.
@@PrincessofKeyport I see that happen alot, I test mechanics by having my wife or MIL get quotes for the car repairs I do on their cars before I fix them myself. last time my MIL went into a mechanic she was quoted $2600 in repairs for a car worth 3k, and it took me 30 minutes and an 8c washer to repair. infact I've only found one decent mechanic in my entire town, and seeing as its a town filled thermal vents and the gases that corrode and cause problems in cars there are alot of mechanics here. thats alot of scumbag in one town scumbags are everywhere.
