You didn't address the proper resolution to the spider issue. House must be completely burned to the ground, rebuilt, and then you can continue with the tub/shower kit installation.

Did you see that spider, that's why I put a bunch of sticky sheets that catch insects under the tub.

Thanks for sharing. Did you use white colored calk or clear? Does it even matter?

Just took one off that was 10 years old. You can have it. After I saw what was growing in the framing after I took it off I will never put one on again

What could be used to to add additional support under the tub? That’s where our last one broke through and I don’t want to risk it happening again.

These Menards tubs with those feet, don't need a mortar base? I see your install is already on a concrete subfloor. But what about a 1st floor installation where there is a basement underneath and tub is sitting on a plywood subfloor. Will it need to be in mortar?

No Mortar is needed with this tub design, just sealant and shims if needed .

What screws were used to secure tub and surround?

The shower looks good but always finish the drywall on the outside the trim looks too funky and there should never be a problem with your new install

If some fatass stomps around in there youre gonna need to replace it again

Deff not a fan of the trim, but tub itself is not a bad way to go.

Trim is a good idea especially for trailer where it seems like nothings lasts, becausse people always destroy things. Stupid drug addicts.
