Interesting to see this style. Back in the 1970's when I bought my first "big bike", a 1974 CB750, this is exactly the type of master link and clip that I installed. I then rode across Canada from Vancouver and back with zero issues. I understand why the new style of mushrooming the pins link is preferred, but this type seems to me to be far more fool proof. I never hear of one of these failing.
