    I am Jamaican living aboard and watching JA TV it is all influence by America. The vloggers all try to be foreigners. One RUclips family even seems to scoff at Jamaican food, always showcase the American style cafes and food. Big up to Ms. Pearly grandson for keeping the culture alive.

    Love this dude, if only Jamaicans realize how much of a trendsetter we are. Some foreign minded fool fool Jamaicans wouldnt understand that they have what other people want. Even have our children twanging like Americans, then say the culture is dying without realizing they are the ones killing it. teach your child their mother tongue language and English, they are Bilinguals and should be proud of it.

    • @Den-gz4yo
      @Den-gz4yo Год назад +1

      exactly so, Jamaicans can speak English with a Jamaican accent as they should and they can speak Jamaican Patois too. There is a difference between accent and language. We have two languages and one accent, we dont need to twang.

    In don't think we lose our our identity. I feel like we insert ourselves because we operate in the cooperate scene and such we have to speak so they too can learn us and vice versa.

      True they do have trouble understanding most Jamaicans when 1st migrate so then I think most speak in standard English or in away similar so they can better understand and before u know it most start to speak that way...I can basically flex between any lingo but usually not with any accent unless I'm trying to be funny😅

    I missed the ole old time granny talking and the untapped knowledge that is educational and wisdom to heed.
    We need and are in need of more of these sentiments not just on social media outlets;
    but on the television and not bambard us with foreign entities tv ans or their reality shows that are not fruitful; but yet it is all feeding our mindset thinking it is okay and these filts having a worldwide impact that is not fruitful

    Greetings all🌅 Would you be interested in a riveting read that is posing on the shelf of Amazon as a Five 🌟 Star Rated book? I am Andrea Ricketts, the blessed and proud Author of this. The title is " 'Twas Grace: The Power and Sufficiency of God's Grace." It is about a hard season of my life and how Grace covered me all the way here. You will be stirred up to testify of your victories. Who knows? Perhaps, you will do so by writing your own book one day. Bless you. Check it out.😊
