Lead isn’t banned in India I think only cadmium is. Even if lead is banned then I would say most of the times other alternative metal & it’s alloys are used. I am assuming that all the refineries have some rules to follow for sure. Since mmtc pamp is a BIS licensed refinery hence they might be more cautious when it comes to alloys being used.

In india you only have access to Gold, Silver & Platinum when it comes to metals where the costliest being Gold then platinum and finally silver. I am not so sure how pearls are priced. Silver is 62rs per gram.

Lead isn’t banned in India I think only cadmium is. Even if lead is banned then I would say most of the times other alternative metal & it’s alloys are used. I am assuming that all the refineries have some rules
to follow for sure. Since mmtc pamp
is a BIS licensed refinery hence they might be more cautious when it comes to alloys being used.
