Helldivers Guide: How to solo hard missions

Missions are usually easier by yourself on Helldivers. Since you don't have to worry about friendly fire, its easier to be stealthy, and less enemies will spawn.

I tried one today. One of the fuel the base deals. Could Not let go of the valves. Frozen. Stuck. Was it a bug or crash? I had to end processes. Are you supposed to be able to do it alone? Then how to let go of a valve after the A-B thing?
After 1 hour of playing this game I understood the need to keep moving.
Everytime I open my match to the public people join who end up just defending a spot in the middle of nowhere when we have to find intel or a hidden nest somewhere.
Super frustrating.
yah, there is no XP for killing enemies. There is not point in standing and fighting. There is no Noob that understands this idea.
Shawn Pyke in a larger squad there are points where you are forced to, but you need to know when to tactically run away

1 players who actually understand the game and how to move and complete objectives
2 players who get enfatuated with standing and fighting to the death over a pointless patch of dirt
3 players who rage at you for not playing meta and taking a super go fast build so they can sprint around the map and hoover up all the samples

This is super helpful and exactly what I needed! I've been trying to find a good strategy video WITH commentary, and you delivered.
Yeah, they upped the difficulty by including those Retaliatory Strike missions. Distraction Beacons are probably useless with those since the environment is so small and you are just being mobbed with waves of enemies.

6:44 (talking about the distractor beacon 'exploit') im not sure if they got nerfed ever, but i think its a decent strategy, and i dont consider it a 'cheat' or anything like that. It might seem like it takes away the challenge, but hey, you can always try it without them.
Distraction beacons fool all three enemy races equally. you'd think the Protoss would be smart enough to ignore them, but nope.
These are some good tips, using multiple distractor beacons, but I did not like using them because it took the desperate fight out of the game. I would throw two flame wall fire strikes around an objective and perhaps a gatling gun turret and fight like mad while completing the objective. But it's difficult! The beacons made it too easy, though.

I just started playing the Steam version of HELLDIVERS this past week. Super fun. A great challenge (when working with people that don't stay mobile....lol).

What do I do if a tank just drops on top of me even tho a beacon is still currently active. It’s not like I walked into the patrol a tank legit dropped from the sky on top of me

I'm not getting any movement on the influence bar single player or couch co-op no matter how many challenging o hard missions I grinded through. Seems broken somehow.
Nah. It's not broken. You just need a lot of influence.
nice i wanted to know how to solo missions alot of player online fuck things up because they stand and try to fight enemies off when its easier to run away

UAV helps you scan the map more accurately and has a larger view,so you can find key information like where the patrols at,then you can manage to avoid them or be ready to shot them in the face before they call in reinforcements.
The key to solo level 9+ is avoid patrol.

Say suicide missions not hard I thought this was for actual hard missions, glad I still decided to watch
game seems easy says people, then arrowhead ups challenge then people bitch that " it's too hard " smh, can never satisfy e-peens on the net, people just need to enjoy the game as it is
It's easy with friends, but solo isn't "hard" it's cheap as hell since most of the enemies on higher difficulty have long range insta-downs.

Now I don't have to deal with dumbasses who just spam air drops, get me, the HOST, killed, and then call me a noob because they threw it right under my feet while I'm in an exo suit. And exo suits are slowish, especially if you're trying to turn and shoot. For some reason the turning animation has an affect on your speed and you go slower than you're supposed to. Fucking bullshit.
