It’s not normal. This only happens if your skin barrier is broken due to over use of actives. I would recommend take a break from all actives & retibol for week. Let your skin heal and then start again

Just use hydrating creams as I recommend here. Melasma is a more serious problem to solve focus on that. Open pores can be treated later. And once you use tretinoin it would get better.

Skin is sensitive then use azealic acid 10% don’t mix layer how I have recommended for tretinoin

It’s a treatment for it should be used only as long as the problem exists. Take a break for a week every 3 months.

Am- step 1cerave cleanser
Step 2- plum toner with niacinamide
Step 3- melasure
Step - 4 moisturiser ponds gel
Step -5 sunscreen Aqualogic
Pm routine care-
After cleansing demelan
And ponds gel moisutriser
And retinol olay regenerist 2,3 times a week during that time not using melasure and demelan . Is my routine is right please suggest me .
Routine is great. Ensure you use demelan at least 3x a week. Since it’s been a few months on olay, time to move up to medical grade tretinoin, please see all tretinoin related videos before starting. Also ensure you are reapplying sunscreen
