Wali bhai best way to waive off the conversion charges is; send remittance in PKR RDA and then transfer to USD RDA account from your PKR RDA. Some banks allow RDA to RDA transfer within a same bank.
No security of your money in pakistan. NEVER Ever do that.

The bigger issue is that I mistakenly used incorrect beneficiary name, now i have no clue where the payment is. It is been now 10 days, and I am running after ADCB to fix the issue, but no response. Ahhh life is crazy at times.

Hi Wali, what are your thoughts on investing in PKR NPC instead of USD considering the profit rate is almost double , even with PKR depreciation , still it will give returns more than USD 9%?

Secondly I want to state that one reason of the stagnation in Roshan Digital investment is extreme inflation (easpecially in North America, Canada and UK). Majority investment was flowing from those countries and inflation is eating away most of the savings of many families.

USD savings - and then invest through that for USD INPC.
Which bank you recommend to open RDA account for both USD and PKR. So that we can keep savings in USD and convert to PKR for local usage.
Any bank would work - so far HBL & Meezan worked well for me.

AoA! I am a resident Pakistani and have opened RDA on the basis of 'declared assets abroad'.... however, I'm allowed to open the account in foreign currency only (not PKR) and as far as I know, I can avail of NPCs only... Wouldn't it be better for me to convert my foreign money to PKR n invest in mutual funds... I think that would provide me with a better profit rate n is therefore more beneficial..?

You did not mention one thing. One can always invest in pkr in naya pakistan certificate (as rates are better in pkr) and always keep aneye on exchange rates. If USD to PKR partiy fluctuates you can always break naya pakistan certificate and transfer it back to RDA USD. If you have multi currency RDA you can always transfer between accounts.Hope i have explained it better.

Yes - but 100 USD is a small amount as you will incur while sending and repatriating some transaction cost which is around $25 each.
Is there any update on sohni dharti application which was linked with RDA.will it start again ?
Service has been started but some of the accounts are locked (including mine). I've lodged a complain and got a reply mentioning they are working on it and trying to solve the problem. Since 2 weeks my account is still locked. If your account is not locked you might use this scheme without any problem, this is what I have heard recently!
I have not used it again - but looks like no one is taking care of it.
My account reactive again after lodge the complaint...

When creating the Roshan Digital Account, i am facing this problem, i am a freelancer web developer living in turkey on a short term residency of 2 years and have the tax number but don't pay taxes on my foreign income coming from usa. which one should i select?
Reason A
The country where the Account Holder is liable to pay tax does not issue TIN/ NTNs to its residents
Reason B
The Account Holder is unable to obtain a TIN/ NTN or equivalent tax number (Please explain why you are unable to obtain a TIN/ NTN in the below table if you have selected this reason)
Reason C
No TIN/ NTN is required. (Note: Only select this reason if the authorities of the country of tax residence entered below do not require the TIN/NTN to be disclosed)
But the problem is that you cannot make local deposit, if u inherit, sell etc
That's the whole point of RDA - it's only for inward remittances. But if you invest using RDA in a property / stocks, that amount is repatriable along with any profits.
Main question is how easy is repartition? And how long will it take?

I suggest Meezan. HBL was a nightmare, hence I switched to Meezan which has been much better.

Possible - but not worth the hassle for myself.
How do you forecast NPC-USD after Pakistan takes $8 billion IMF loan in coming months? Will this 9% change?
It might go down - but not in near future.
Once you lock for 9%, it will remain for the length of the tenure.

The answer is yes. Wali made a whole video on this. I have also repatriated out of RDA multiple times.
@@kachrachi Did you repatriate from dollar account to back to your doreign dollar account? If yes, then why should the exchange rate affect you when both accounts are in dollars?
The USD rates would be the same as interbank rates - you might incur some transaction fee which is normal. Even from PKR to USD is flawless.@@rasoolbux2643

That should be fine - select the USD INPC.

It depends on what are banks involved on both sides + the corresponding bank too.

HBL does not have the app to track the NPC I believe - but you can get the statement from RM in case its not there.@@naeemullah6550

I have incurred huge deductions when I transferred my AED to Dollar account. Pls advise how to resolve it.
How much did you transfer? There are 2 work arounds:
1 - Transfer larger amount so deductions of 100-120 AED seems small.
2 - Transfer to PKR RDA and then move the funds to USD within the same bank at ZERO cost.
@@WaliKhan_2k even after using the swift code, the bank is deducting the amount.
I transferred AED 20,278 to Meezan Dollar account, which makes 20,278*3.67= $5525
I got $5460 in the account, deduction of $65 + Swift Cost AED 21 in the ADCB ACCOUNT. I know the fixed cost of AED 105 for the bamk transfer is adjusted in $65, but even then the cost was high.
I transferred AED 20,278 to Meezan Dollar account, which makes 20,278*3.67= $5525
I got $5460 in the account, deduction of $65 + Swift Cost AED 21 in the ADCB ACCOUNT.
I cant even wave off the swift cost despite using their so called code.

One more question since there are very low interest rate in US/Canada would you consider to invest in RDA for safe return of 9% keeping all other factors aside?
9% is really good for short to medium term.
yes 9% is very good, meanwhile you can also consider the bluechips stock in psx on very safe side and diversification. ❤

UBL took 2-3 months to open my account. And worst customer service.
HBL didn’t even responded to open account. These both are worst.

If we are not considering moral angle , still one has to see if the current government has the track record of freezing the assets or not ? Furthermore we should always judge our investment based on the health of business environment, do you see Pakistan has the capacity to pay 9% return and sustain it in forex ?

Finally a good question in comments. There's no way Pakistani banks have the capacity to get a 9% return on USD unless there's some govt subsidy involved.
Banks are not liable to pay - its the government.

transfer fee is not in %age - its a fixed amount depending on the bank - you must not repatriate small amount.

irrespective of who is governing. the current yoyo government. where it is not clear who is in charge. the almost empty treasury where it is surprising for me that the government is able to pay salary. where it is a challenge to secure 1 billion imf loan. where businesses are not safe because of political affiliation. it is not safe to put ones money in RDA, unless one wants to gamble or experiment and dont mind losing the money. big funds will jump at earning a 3 percent return. here besides few Pakistanis, no real investors are interested

It’s easy - but depend on bank to bank. Usually they have forms on their website or you can approach the RM.
It's very simple, for Meezan you can just do it online
