Why would you do a reset if you’re going home? Once you get that camper dropped you’re just another pickup truck cruising down the hiway. Do that reset at home!
Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. When you sign off duty on our ELD/ Keep Trucking apps it sets a location and mileage. When you sign back on duty you have to be in the same basic location if you are away from home. If not DOT will dig into your pockets!

You can go into the location settings for that app and turn it off that way you can put in the miles you drive and location manually trust me I use the same app
Hey David. This is illegal to do. The DOT regulations say that I am considered on the job when I leave home to go get the camper until I get back home. There are several reasons I try to stay legal. One, there are consequences if I were to get pulled over and the officer asks to see my logs. Two and God forbid, if I had an accident (even if it was not my fault) and someone gets hurt or killed. The first thing the attorney is going to ask for is my logs. Then you are talking about jail time.
