My grandmother use to sing this song to my son, she passed away 3 months after he was born. I never heard this song until she sung this to him now when the church sings this song, I feel her spirit telling me she's still watching over me.
OMG. I only heard this song once as a kid sung by a little old Chinese lady in our Sunday school. Our Sunday school kids hated to sing, and that version was the reason why. What an amazing difference it makes when someone actually sings it properly. (no offense to little old ladies.)
I sang this as a kid. It is still a favorite! I hope it stirs people's heart to except Jesus as their savior. My desire us everyone who knows Jesus as their savior will be obedient to Our Lord.! Blessings

I'm not religious, I have no beliefs, but this song can move me emotionally, nobody can sing it like a black choir can, I only wish we had a black parish or church choir near me, I'd like to go for the music lol
