I love that table saw of yours! Everything always changes in the building process what you think will look good or will work the way you want in thinking about does always in reality! I have a saying when building what should be and what is ain't always! Looking good Dave nice job!
This has been a very interesting build to watch.. Your skill never ceases to amaze me.. Also, a nice thing you did for building the wheel for the nice lady. You are a good citizen in my book... I started watching in the Borax Wagon days and don"t think I have missed an episode. Thank you so much for all the entertainment and shared knowledge.... Russ
Dave, there better be a parade to put this wagon in. Because everyone should see all the work you have put into rebuilding this wagon. Always a pleasure to watch. Well explained content. Stay safe.
I love the way you explain your figuring out. A master craftsman at work. It very much reminds me of working with dad repairing boats, but working with wood and metal.
I look forward to watching you work, no drama, just a craftsman at work. It's getting closer to being on the road. I'm hoping there will be some notice when it's complete and heading back to Washington state. It will be worth the drive from Seattle to Brewster just to see it arrive. Thanks for letting us watch.
Your work is always exceptional but we can’t forget to give a shout out to whoever it was that saved all the iron pieces from the rotted out original coach. Just enough pieces to put a really nice replica back together.
As usual, it's a pleasure watching you unscrew the inscrutable. Watching you second guess folks 100 years in their graves tickles me. Thanks, Dave & Dianne (not necessarily in that order)
I'm amazed at the pile of scrap you started with then using your vast knowledge of wagon construction and photos you've come up with what i shaping into a beautiful end product. I am really looking forward to seeing it's completion but no doubt we're a few episodes away from that. Then afterwards I wonder what the next project will be from the pile you have out the back.
I am a retired individual, prior experience irrelevant, but I've taken up woodworking to keep me busy. I have acquired quite a lot of knowledge with my efforts in this hobby via your videos, and some tips from a shripwright as well. (Had to mention this, sorry) I find your thought process prior action to be very informative & helpful, quite a lot like mine - yuk yuk. Many thanks for your efforts here.
Hi Dave and Diane ☺, mud wagon is realy taking shape now, not long before it has a roof on it, as usual superb joinery, and set up. Hope your all doing well, thanks for another interesting video, stay safe, best wishe's to all, Stuart and Megan UK.
Wow! its really starting to take shape now Dave. looks great! I still have a lot of admiration to your depth of detail. not to mention it makes for a great way to enjoy some RR time alone etc. thanks for sharing. ECF
Australia. I don’t feel sick only amazed and grateful that value still exists in this world. Attention to detail and craftsmanship. A life in service to others and your craft is truely the highest calling. ✌🏻❤️🇺🇸🙏🏻
EngelsCoachShop: The design/construction/fabrication abilities exhibited on this channel never cease to amaze and impress! Wish these capabilities could be learned, either 'easily' or by 'dint of hard work,' but guessing that these are simply innate to the individual...
Perfection! This brings up the question, what is your estimate of the fair market value of the finished wagon? I'm not asking how much you charge, rather the value of the result.
You can’t convince me that any of the premier wagon shops of the past could have built a mud wagon of the craftsmanship, quality and detail of this one. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅✅✅✅✅
What ever project big or small it great to be able to change your mind. Gives an amateur confidence that it is a positive change and not a compromise or bodge.😊
Hey Dave, I came up with a way to keep small glueups perfectly square. I use 123 blocks from the milling machine when clamping up. A little tedious, but perfect results so far. Thanks for helping rekindle my interest in woodworking.
I watch, and think I would have done it some other way. And then you do it and I say,, OHHHHHHHH now I see why he did it that way. I envy guy like you that can see every step alone the way, me it OK start and we will figure it out as we go, hell you got it figured out before you start. Sir I am impressed 👍👍👍
Dave I am not sure why you call it a table saw. It gets use more for a work bench. So it should be a work bench saw ! LOL THANKS for taking time to share with all of us!
Does anyone remember the tag on the door sill of old GM cars that said "Body by Fischer"? I think this one should have a tag that says "Body by Engel"! 😁👍😁
I've been remiss. I've forgotten to thank you for the information on the Silver Streak marking pencil. It works wonders on dark wood without leaving a mark like a scribe would. Thanks again
@@dianeengel4155 When is your husband going to show you more in his videos? I'm pretty darn sure you've been a great help in his business over the many years.
The "Change My Coach" is much like many cars I have worked on. Where there had to be "executive decisions" made because there were no clear avenues to pursue. Just several options that would help make a vehicle usable....
Another informative tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing your techniques. I appreciate that not only do you show how you do things, but you slso exsplain why. The "changed my mind wagon" is looking great.

The Okanogan Chamber of Commerce better contact the owner of this coach for next year's Parade. The first Saturday of June, 2024.
I’d like to see horses or mules pulling it.
There is that Omak Stampede and Rodeo up there every year, would be a pleasure to see it there
The fastest 20 minutes on you tube! Absolutely love the content of your vids Dave. They are what TV should be! Keep up the good work!
Thank you

Every time I see you using that table saw, I shake my head in wonder. What a marvelous piece of machinery.
Absolutely my favorite thing in that shop. (Next to Dave and an occasional visit from Diane, of course!)

Love your table saw, one of the best ones I have seen on you tube....
Every time I see Dave’s saw I think beautiful and that it was made in 1905 amazing craftsmanship.
WE have followed your videos for a long time now, and enjoy the build process of making the coaches come to life... please continue
Man, seeing those last two bows just click into place ... So good.
Been watching the entire build on this coach. Love to see your thoughts on how it should be put together and your workmanship is outstanding.
I was watching an old gunsmoke episode the other day, and there was a wagon identical to this one. Enjoying this channel.
Cheers !!

Always amazed at the care and precision of the fits ... wonderful work !
So much forethought!! I don't know what I want when staring at a menu!! Lol!!
Mighty clever thinking about the stress in the bow and the joint.
I thought that was clever figuring out the best way to cut that joint.
Very nicely done Sir. Love the details that most people will never see. You are a true craftsman.
This is quite possibly the most relaxing thing on the internet to watch. Love to decompress by just watching this guy work... Many thanks!
I love it to see how it comes together. Every step you made was build to in my head before. I have learned to make wagons.
Wonderful how well those joints fell into place. Superb carpentry.
Anyone else get that sick feeling when you realise you’ve had your lot for the week as Dave wraps up the episode? Awesome work Mr Engles! Cheers 🇦🇺
You commented before I had the chance!

Yep, you beat me to it! The other thing that saddens me a bit is the recognition that this particular build is nearly complete.
Yes - Dave always leaves me wanting more.
I think he’s been ready for this one to be done for awhile now. Much happier out on the acreage.

Wonderful work, Love watching it makes for a great start to Saturday mornings here in Australia.
Extremely nice work Mr Dave!!!
I have enjoyed your work for a couple years now!!
It won't be too long until it is finished now. From the heap of rusty iron and rotten wood you started from, it has really been a journey.
Best channel on RUclips!

Admirable craftsmanship Dave.
Nice joinery Dave..
That box of junk was very lucky to have found it's way to Dave Engel. What a beautiful wagon
I am impressed on how beautiful it looks 👏 👏
Always the craftsman.
I so love to watch your millwork. You are a craftsman
Top to Bottom you are the best.
Beautiful work - can’t wait to see the cover go on too!
Major advancements.
And just how big (or small) is a Skowsch?
Love your woodworking AND your description of that work.
Just a tad smaller than a smidgen. 😁🙃😉

You hardly need the straight edge with those fine ''eyecrometers'' you were born with. Nice work Dave.
Looking good, thanks.
Just another great job from the master craftsman thank you, Dave.👍👍👍👍👍
Very good as usual.
Thank you.
Looking good Dave,
Simply amazing engineering and carpentry 👍👍

Dave, that seems to be one hell of a table saw you have there. Does anyone actually make table saws as versatile and as well built as that any more??
