Now this is Rock!!!! None of the make-up wearing- tight jeans-eye-linered- rebonded hair rock star stereotype! Just dudes with beards and their guitars. We need more bands like this.
I never saw then at this venue (or in the US for that matter..yet) but I've seen them about 15 times at various gigs in London and they hit every one of them out of the park from start to finish. The best live band I've ever heard and I've seen a LOT of bands live.
great show at the 9:30... I think Clutch has put on some of thier best shows ever at the 9:30 club... This was also the show recorded for the "Ace of Cakes" spot on Food Network!
I see these guys in two weeks in Austin. I hope they play this and Gravel Road. Doubt I will, though, since they're the opening act. But, who knows? I'm still stoked.
@wesjoe311 Update: they played Gravel Road first that night! No Regulator, though. But, they did bust out "Soapmakers". I was impressed, to say the least.
im smoking my breakfast and listeining to this cool shit. Neil dont ever shave that burning beard. i heart clutch. Metallicaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
That's awesome witch877 coz I think Clutch does represent a certain patriotism (no matter where you are) and pride in our self-strengths, etc...without going too deep, I'll just say I think that's cool and smoke another bongload
@richardaday76 well clapping is one of the many respectable ways to show the band your appreciation for what they are doing for you. let me guess, you yell out song names all night. some people really enjoy just watching the band. dont get me wrong i love getting down with the get down but i like to watch their performances also. not just scream all set long at the top of my lungs (they dont really hear you anyway)
